Hello fellow docs.

I dont make my own packs, but I plan on soon because Im running out of things to do. But thats another story.

I recently looted six jars of Janta blood with 146 power and 13 charges. Could someone tell me the power rateing on the buffpacks these bad bad boys could make or what they are worth?

It all depends on your other resources, they replace ABECs in crafting( I think, not too sure on this), so I'm sure there is some sort of formula out there to figure it out.

Janta Blood does replace advanced biological effect controllers in your buffs. You need to have 3 identical (same serial) to use for each stat other than action and constitution (which take 2 each).

They will basically boost the power that you could otherwise get by about 125 points (143 power blood - 18 power aBEC). I am just guessing at what your normal aBECs are. You will also be losing about 12 charges in your final med.

The blood can make good packs great, but you have to haveexcellent avian and reactive gas to truly see the potential in a set of janta blood.

Yep,as the other Docs said, it will all depends on the stats of your subcomponents, avian and gas.

Ifyou already happen to have those, just use this formula here --

Power of the pack= ACRDM + ASDS + ABEC (power) + 40 + 0.76 x (Avian OQ + Avian PE + Gas OQ)/3

And when crafting with Janta Bloods, just replace the power of your ABEC with the one on the Bloods.

Also, make sure you are in a player city with the research classification.

Personnally I do not bother with Janta becasue I have found my failure rate is higher and then you endup with a FUBAR buff and wasted creds.

Being in a research classified player city when making the buffs will lessen the change of a failure when experimenting.

FYI - It is possible to make 900+ buffs with out using Janta Blood as long as all your resources, including those used for the components, are 900+ in the respectiveresource categories.
