How much more effective would it be to use a +15 Food and Chemical tool w/ a +43 Station??

From what I hear, it doesn't change the stats of what you are making. A good quality crafting tool will decrease the odds of getting an assembly failure, and a good crafting station will give you better odds when you experiment (which can ultimately lead to a better product).

I have never seen actual statistics on the amount of a boost that a high-end crafting station gives. However, I do believe there is some benefit to it.
Basically, since 15.0 tools and high end (44.xx) stations are fairly inexpensive (under 100k on Flurry), I wouldn't mess around with anything but the absolute best.
