Thread: Stims D?

Hi guys, I have been a Novice Doctor for about two days now. I like to heal both in the hospital and in the field, that is why I might become a Combat Medic also.



Anywayz I was wondering how do you make Stims D? Someone told me through a facotry etc.. But could someone explain to me the process please. Like is there a special factory, how does the facotry exactly work and more. Also is it possible to make stims d on your own?

Hey Z,

You need two biological controllers that were made in a factory, yours or someones elses. When you have that you can make a stim-d schematic at a food/chemical crafting station.

You need 2 things that most Medics don't have and that is the key to making stim D's:

1) BECs from a factory crate (2). (as mentioned above)
2) Access to a private food/chemical crafting station (one in someone's house not one of the public ones)

You don't need a factory to make a stimpack-D, exactly. But you do need a factory to make one of the components that you need to make a stimpack-D. Making stimpack-D is almost the same as making stimpack-C. But there's a catch.


Here's what you need:


- 14 Organic, any organic


- 18 Fiberplast (can't just be "any inorganic" like C, it must be fiberplast)


- 1 liquid suspension


- 1 chemical release duration mechanism


- 2 identical factory-made biological effect controllers (this is the catch)


You already know how to make a BEC (biological effect controller). The problem is that if you make two of them in your crafting tool, they are not exactly the same, even if you use the same ingredients. Each one is unique, with a unique serial number.


A factory is a structure that mass produces identical items. The way it works is you go through the crafting process to make your BEC just as you would normally, but at the last minute you select "make a manufacturing schematic". Then instead of a BEC in your inventory you end up with a BEC schematic in your datapad. Then you go to a factory, put in the schematic, 300 of the organic you used, 300 of the inorganic you used, and turn it on. It will run for an hour or two, and then when you come back to the factory, you take out a crate of 50 BECs, all identical with the same serial number and the exact same stats. The crate in your inventory only takes up 5 slots, no matter how many items it has inside. Then you can take 2 BECs out of the crate, and use those to make your Stimpack-D just as you would make anything else.


To summarize: you don't need a factory to make Stimpack-Ds, you just need a factory crate of Biological Effect Controllers. Try checking the bazaar, or asking around your server to find someone with a food factory who could make you some.

You just need a private factory, it does not need to be in a house. A droid with a food/chemical crafting station will function the same way. In addition you can have it out right next to the factory.


The other option is to check some of the larger player houses that have vendors. The house is open and chances are they have a food/chem station, you can just stand next to thiers and use its capabilties.
