Thread: Recommendations Needed for 42 skill points.

Well, I just did a plan of my toon's career path before I drop the question on you let me give you a quick overview:


77 points - Master Medic. Just go to here last night.


36 points - Marksman. Pistol is full, and I have ranged support up to III.


29points- Scout. Have exploration full. Currently have Hunting full, but will give those up as needed until they are all gone (I am gonna miss this branch). I am debating on giving up Exploration IV and keeping hunting I and II, but either way points are the same (opinions on this?)


64 points - Master Pistoleer. Not here yet, but will be one day.

That leaves 44 points for me to spend on Doctor. Now my question is this - Where would those pointsbe most effective / best spent? Consider that I do most of myhealing in the field (I would take Combat medic if ranged on the run and poisons worked). A kicker to that isability to revive is a must. Another major consideration is that I really would like to use enhancements.

novice doctor and treatment 4...lets u rez and buff...


if u have points left over, med knowledge for access to better packs...


buy ur packs...


mastering both line should take 34 points...

If you'd rather be a combat medic if those two things worked, id almost recomend you just work combat medic and forget doctor. If the two things that are essentially the purpose of the class dont work, then they're bound to be fixed. If you are still going for doc, you might want to skip the wound treatment speed line, although you would be missing out on the ability to cure poision and disease. With wound treatment 4 (to allow you to buff and resurrect, and to increase buff effectiveness) and doc med knowledge 4 (so you can use the meds)you'd be set, assuming you dont mind buying all your meds. If you plan on spending all 44 of those points, you could take three of the four branches in doc...so since the middle two are essentially must-haves, you can chose between being able to cure poisions and diseases, or being able to craft your own medicines.

BTW: i just noticed that we both play on eclipse. If you chose to not craft your own meds, you can always give Rearden a call...I can make you some :-)
