Do I just need master wound treatment to revive player? Or will I have to have skills in other trees in doctor as well?

I know as a medic I couldn't use my stim-c's until I had Pharmacology III.

SO, will I be able to use revive packs and rezz a player with JUST wound treatment IV, or are other skills involved?

If not can I just buy the revive packs and use them in the field?

I realize this is a n00b question but I haven't found the answer after searching the boards.

You are correct. You need master wound treatment to use the res packs, even though the med use req on them is fairly low. And you can buy packs from others if you don't want to master crafting.

woot, this is great news. I would like to go up to wound treat IV before I do the other trees so I can be useful to a group. I bet people with that master surgeon title (or whatever you get at wound IV) never have a hard time finding a group

Problem lies in finding groups that are worthwhile to join. Need to get a group of friends that group together often and understand.

Avoid like the plague this situation : Leetb0i_05 yells "Krayt Dragon for huntphat lewts- meet outside cantina in 5 minutes"

Oh yeah, and carry alot of res packs. If I am grouped I have at least 20 charges to be super safe. Learned the hard way that 10 won't cut it some places.

LOL ain't that the truth. Yeah, I can't tell you how many times I've grouped, ran to the middle of no where, only to have people say "this mission is too hard I'm gonna log". Then I'm stuck there, running all the way back to town with an aborted mission.

I just cannot think of any cooler ability in game than to be able to rezz friends though. This is very exciting.

Its funny, it never crossed my mind to be a doctor. Then I hit medic hard and heavy for a few days and found I loved it. Who would have thunk it? All this tme I thought I wanted to be some uber BH or Smuggler osmenthe.
