Thread: Enhancing/buffs question
2) Right now my buffs are in the 715 power range (Not the greatest) and I buff people in the range of 800 - 2600. My average is probably around 1200-13000.
I did a test on 3 players last night.
All enhance pack D's
Player 1:
Stamina - 2407
Strength - 2146
Constitution - 1588
Quickness - 1785
Action - 2788
Health - 1901
Total - 12615 in buffs
Player 2
Stamina - 1792
Strength - 2677
Constitution - 1288
Quickness - 1885
Action - 1731
Health -2107
Total -11450 in buffs
Player 3
Stamina - 1421
Strength - 2386
Constitution - 1243
Quickness - 1902
Action - 2977
Health - 1876
Total -11805 in buffs
Each stat buff was done on each player before doing the next round of buffs (i.e. stamina - player 1, player 2 then player 3.... strength.. player 1, player 2 then player 3... rinse/repeat).
It was mentioned at one point that docs sould charge 1c per buff increase. I don't think I would do much business.

I would agree that luck plays a major factor when enhance buffing. I've tried several experiments with a digital chronograph to see if timing is an issue once the "you are now ready to heal more wounds" pops up with somewhat good success. But, I think it all comes down to luck of the draw.
Oh, I've had some buffs under 1k. Very few, but it still happens once in a while (5% of the time). Making the customer aware of the fact that we don't have control over the buff (enhancment) % is important. Ok, I say that, but we do have a little control as far as the quality type buff being used. All of mine are above 800 base and over 900 for action. That's about as much control as we have when buffing.
The bad part is that the repeat customers get upset when I don't do their action for 3300 pts like "last time". Oh well, all part of it I guess.

Here's a question that would be on topic in this thread..
Have you ever had severly horrible enhances, i mean *lower* than the base amount on the pack?
Twice that i can recall, i have clicked numbers below the base level, once I got a 625 point enhance from what was i think an 810 base health enhance.
What could be up with that? Bug? Droid issue? Is there a chance for what would compare to a "critical failure" where you can literlly roll below the amount of the base listed on the pack?
I wondered at the time if my own state of mind was part of the issue, as this happened both times in PvP environments when i was *very* high on battle fatigue and had some decent wounds. I don't know if that can play a roll in determining what might be considered a "crit fail" on applying an enhancement.
It's not a common issue, but it's happened to me twice that i know, where the enhance i clicked was less than the base level of the medicine used.
Anyone else ever experienced this?

I doubt you would, i further doubt that most player would find 1cr per point of enhance a fair deal, that seems exceptionally steep considering the small investment of 6 charges of enhance D's.
The quality of the enhance D's i have made in my past months has fluctuated from around mid 700's to high 800's base enhance, depending on resources. When crafting enhance D's i simply destroy anything that doesn't make it over around 750 or so base.
My record enhances are in the mid 2800 range, and i would guess on the "average" like most people i'm clicking 1400-1500 or so.
Dr. Geiger, your numbers never land under 1000? Jeeeez... 18 clicks and your lowest roll was 1200+, that is exceptionally *lucky* from what i can tell.
You must be using enhance D's with a base enhance of over 1000 to never roll below 1200's range... I'd like to see some of those 1000+ packs you're making, that's just fantastic... It defies the law of averages.. with 18 clicks and over 35,000 points, you've averaged 1900+ per click..figuring intypical master doctor skill mods I would think your "median" roll is indicative of at least 1000+ base enhance packs?
Or just one doggone lucky guy, hehehe.
Great numbers.
