Other than master wound treatment, are there any special requirements for using res kits?

Novice Doctor for the med skill bonus to make your med useage skill 55. Most rez kits are between 51-55 med use.

Tried a little experiment this weekend.
I made some rez kits with a medical use of 45. Had a friend who had a medical use over that, but who has yet to obtain Master Surgeon.
He couldn't rez our test subject.
So, suppose it's true- you do need to be a Master Surgeon and have the required points to accomplish a successful rez.

No, I'm saying you have to be a Master Surgeon and have the required number of medical use points, depending on the kit you're using.

oh my bad, I misread and thought you said "could" but you really said couldent.
