Greetings,

I am currently a Master CM and working on Mastering Doctor. Originally I was a Master CM/Master Pistoleer. Wanted to get peoples thoughts on what combat class to couple with Master Doctor once I drop MCM.

Master Doctor/Master TKA or Master Doctor/Master Carbineer?

Pros cons of each?

I was a doctor/TK before the Holocron spoke.

GOOD combo.....Powerboost and doctor buffs stack.

Only bad thing is .....not much left for anything else and you run really slow. Hard for you to do anything on hills or mountains.

Carbineer is a really excellent ranged class to combine with doctor. The biggest complaint of carbineers is the HAM costs of their specials, but this can be completed negated with doctor buffs. Carbineers also get some nice area attacks, so with a rock beetle to tank and draw agro, you can take down 4 mobs at once pretty quickly and as a result clear a lair very quickly.

Of course the melee classes also get nice area attacks which is why they are popular doctor choices.

Im a docter/carb and i like it.

Working on Doc/TKA right now myself. Come back in about a year and ask again. I plan to try each of the melee and ranged classes with Doc, before I am done :>)

TKA or Swordsman are good melee classes for a Master Doctor to have. As for ranged I cannot speak on this.
