Thread: Havesters...
Right im about to start up Doctor, and I can get any harvesters any size, so just wondering what is the best way to use up my 10 lots for harvesters? eg. 4 Flora,3 Chem, 2 mineral 1 water.
Ill probably be using medium harvesters with rates of 7, perhaps one or two large ones. Suggestions please

This is my setup regarding lots and harvesting. I have 1 of each as a heavy Flora, Chemical, Mineral, Gas, & Water. I have 1 fusion generator, and 2 solar generators. 1 Tattoine small house and 1 food / chemical factory. Of course not all of them are down at the same time since that's 11 lots and we get only 10. To start out just mine for tattoine fiberplast & lokian wild wheat and grind your crafting on advanced biological effect controllers, of course with enough power generators to run them.
If a really excellent resource spawns, jump on it and harvest all you can in the meantime. (My 999OQ Talus water is a prime example 150k units!) With med supplies being on all sorts of different planets ie.. Tattooine, Talus, Dantooine, Lok at the very least it's nice to be able to carry a power generator to put down next to your harvester. While a fusion is fantastic, if the planet isn't spawning radioactives it's useless. Also a solar doesn't have as big a 'footprint' and can be dropped in places where a fusion cannot.
Your house and factory will probably be a mainstay of being up, so use the harvesters that have the best resources out there or that you have a greatest need for. It gets costly to have everything running constantly, and also a pain if you are looking for the high % spots to harvest. Yet by using a heavy and finding a good 60% or higher patch you can clear a good 40k+ of resources at leastfor a weeks spawn.
