Thread: Disease resist broken?

I've poked through the first couple of pages of this forum, and done a search (which is also broken). Also dont see a Known issues thread here...Havent seen anything along these lines...is anyone elses disease resist "buff" not working? I cant for the life of me get it to work.

Are you talking about the basic disease resist buff or the improved one?

The basic one for me, I'm not far enough along to have the improved yet.

i noticed the same.
my initial disease buff wasnt working - when i learned the improved version it worked.
i bug reported it. but as i dont see that diseases are working, its no big deal atm. i had been heavily diseased by the sarlacc - suffered no wounds (even thou the message on the disease icon stated so) and couldnt feel any debuff-effect at all.

Pre CU the disease resist buff only worked in PvP I thought. I may be wrong and it may have changed.

the problem is that the initial version doesn't work at all.
i never noticed with my Master Doc Chars as the impoved version works. when i start another medical career on lowca i got the initial skill "disease resist buff". when i hit the toolbar icon the cooldown animation comes up - but no particle effects or buff state icon on target appear. when i learned the improved version it worked as it should (particle effect + state buff icon).

That sounds similar to basic Thyroid Rupture from CM, it never sticks... perhaps they have a chance to stick on the basic disease resist, which would not make any sense at all what with it being a buff.
If it is like basic Thyroid Rupture then it should have about a 5% stick rate apparently. Use it over and over again and see what kind on stick rate you get.
