Thread: TESTED: Buff Duration
I did some test on buffs and what changes how long they last. My template is MD/TKM, during the test my BF was 2. This was just a quick test to get real world numbers and isn't meant to be the most comprehensive study on how long buffs work but it should give us all an idea on what we can do to make our buffs last longer and educate us on what changes how long they last so we can decided if that high priced SEA is worth the cost.
In all the tests I buffed myself.
A.N.= Advanced Nutrient Skill
A.N.E.= Advanced Nutrient Enhancer Pack 800 Effectiveness
I.E.= Improved Endorphine

The Jacket is BE Modded clothing and has NOT had an SEA added to it, and did not work ![]()
The shirt had a +4 CA added to it,the last time I tested this shirt was before Pub17 and I didnt write the results down but it seemed like it made a bigger difference than these test show ![]()

Thanks for the data! It really shows how bad our enhancements are. Its pretty well known that Augmentation Efficiency bioclothes arent working right (the mod is listed wrong on the clothes), but even if they were, the difference would be negligable.
What I think we really need is a MAJOR difference between master and dabbler buffs. I think its really pitiful that my 4000 medic can buff for around 30 min and a Master doc can only do 10 minutes more. A master doc should be able to buff for 5 or 10x that of a dabbler medic. And all those enhancepacks that converted to Nutrient and Endorphin Enhancers are so useless - they have really given a bad name to meds post-CU.

Yes. Check out the post about convo with the medical devs. They don't want buff to be very long. I really don't have a problem with that. 40 minutes is long enough. It really is. The duration should just be lower for lesser skilled medics. Who buffs 30 people before getting to the enemy? Anyway, I buff in the field. You don't even have to pull a droid out anymore. I sit down after two or three patients to watch the mind regen do its thing and then I do three more. What's the problem? Broken BE is bs though. They should fix that. And all those uber pre-cu buffs that got converted to crap really broke my heart. That conversion was about as poor as they come.
