Disclaimer 1st: OkI am sure this has been gone over before and if so please just hook me up with the links here.

I am wondering what the best and fastest and most of all least frustrating way to grind the medical crafting XP for a doctor is.

I already have max medical healing xp and barely have the 1st crafting box filled up.

What am i doing wrong?

make Biological effect controllers. Allot of them. See any crafting profession forum for a ton of various, generic crafting macros.

Make BEC's in practice mode and if you have the resources for it, make ABEC's in practice mode.

The ABEC gives about double the exp a BEC does but requires more specific resources.

Yeah BECs are by far the biggest bang for the buck when it comes to making up the stuff for XP purposes. I just did regular BECs all the way up with a good macro it only takes a few hours.

Its not the only way, its the fastest. You can still go out there alone to get med xp. It may be slower but it sure is sure!

Find out where your server's hotspot is for finding groups and get one there. On Shadowfire it's the Mining Outpost on Dantooine.

How do you docs grind fast med xp now post-CU? Pre-CU you could have a friend tumble or you could heal a dancer. I assume you can still incapacitate a friend and heal him and again incapacitate him and heal him etc. etc.? Any other easier ways maybe without needing someone tohelpmegrind? I am actually grinding medic but the medic forum has 70 somethreads whereas there are over 1000 threads here, so I figure I can get an answer faster here.

The only way to get xp is in combat.. The onyl fast way is to group with people and heal them.

If you are glowie and can access the Aurellian Village on Dathomir, you can gain some quick med xp by going during the Phase 4 Sith attacks. Group and heal away.

I mastered doc pre-CU so I'm not 100% sure how XP works now, but this is how I hit the cap for grinding FS:

1) Go to the Dant MO.
2) Shout "Doctor looking for hunting group, PST" - even on Tempest, where the MO is often half-empty, I can almost always get in a group.
3) Make sure the group has lvl 80 characters, and go hunt 80+ bols (bols don't aggro, and give great XP)
4) During the fight, use at least one heal for every bol that is killed. DO NOT USE ANY ATTACKS. Just heal. Also check out the excellent guide to managing hate (sticked) to help keep yourself alive.

As a master doc, with level 80+ bols, I get about 5k XP for each bol killed (more if I'm inspired).

Now, I don't know if non-masters make comparable XP, but you should zip through it.

well,a rez cyber arm exists now, with that arm it shall be possible to rez before you are master, but i have no idea if you get XPs from rezzing with that arm
