Thread: Making money? A question...

How is it that doctors can afford to pay +100 cpu for avian meat? At the moment, i either buy resources off guildies, or harvest them myself. Any point in me trying to sell buff packs that are like 300 power? I think not, so how can i make money, I see 3 possibilities:

1) Use my TKA abilities to simultaneously net cash, level up and get herb meat (and avian if good stuff spawns again).

2) Sell stim B's and possibly C/Ds

3) Buy buffs, then buff people with them, buy more, etc etc.

1 is straight forward.
2 I have a question about. How god are these:
13/20 ABEC
137 pwr ALS
47 ACRDM
3 may take a while... 150k for the set of buffs, 28 charges. 280k cash gathered:
Provided I have the 150k covered, my money goes: 280k, 130k, 410k, 260k, 540k, and so on and so forth (-150k +280k). I'd need to sell 8 full packs in order to make 1 million credits.

Anyways, thats my question. Oh and would Dom Oats with:
DR=214, FL=144, PE=821, OQ=987
be good? I assume yes, but would they be worth anything, if so, would you mind telling me a cpu?

CPU should be asked on trade forum actualy, personaly I hunt for my own meat wich is the most expensive thing. But buying buff packs is realy popular as well.

I think buying buff packs and buffing people is your second best option.

Hunting high level mobs with your TKA skills and selling the loot/organic resources would be the best bet.

Well, I had a little cash flow problem this weekend (vendor operator out of town for a while, so no money from the vendor until he gets back), and decided to spend some time in coronet with my tag up today to make money... This was the first time I've sold buffs to the public in months, and I was fairly amused by the results.

I advertised buffs of 2455-2477 for 3 hrs 15 minutes at 15k/set, and also mentioned that I was selling packs... Although there were other docs around selling buffs for most of the time I was there, I usually had a line numbering in the twenties (a very orderly line though -- once or twice someone tried to cut, but was quickly reprimanded by others in line)... So I started /yelling that anyone who brought me havla with a bonus over +100 would get to skip the line. Sure enough, within a few minutes someone logged on their chef (a very nice guy, killer havla) alt, and handed me a couple of pieces of this wonderful new food.

Now, with Havla, you can apply another buff as soon as the animation is done... This makes for fast buffing. I had to eat 2 doses of brandy to keep up. At any rate, everyone in line loved it -- most had no idea how I was buffing so fast, and thought it was really cool. (unfortunately, it eventually fills your stomach... and then you have to wait to eat more bivoli... and then you're screwed...)

But anyway, the moral of the story is that, with some decent packs and a cool gimmick, I sold roughly 60 sets of buffs in roughly two hours for perhaps 50% over the "going rate". I sold quite a few packs, and sent a number of people to my vendor... (all so that I can buy more avian meat -- the stuff i really like is going for 400 cpu now... /sigh)

So, in your case, while you're probably not going to make a living selling meds any time soon, you shouldn't underestimate how much money can be made selling buffs with someone else's packs.

If you can buy packs for 750 credits/charge, and sellbuffs for 2.5k/charge, you're doing alright...

And yeah, hunting avian and herb meat is good money too. I've been paying my hunters very well lately...

the worst thing you can do is rush yourself..i made that mistake and wasted a LOT ofgood fiber and gas to make junk buffs with bad avian and dolovite...get the good resources (when they spawn) and save them till you have everything with high stats...till then i sudgest you buy them...it will take longer to make the BIG BUCKS (although 1mil profit for a crate of 5-28sets aint bad)

Actually using your TKA abilities and Novice Scout, you can collect meat for Doctors, CM's and Chefs. I found that to be the fastest way to make money. We had a spawn of good insect meat on Endor that was going for 40-45 cpu, a week of harvesting and I had about 20K to sell. That's almost a million right there. Just check your trade forums for who's offering how much for what.

2 Things:

Med use 5 Stimpack B's sell like hotcakes. Price doesn't seem to matter much. I buy them when I see them cheap and mark them up 50-100% and sell a ton of them.

Your TK, presuming a decently high level, should go through any creature in the game like wet tissue paper. Find out what creatures are dropping the best meat/hide and go kill that. If it's something you can get high-paying missions for like Voritor or Rancor, even better. Rancor drop an amazing amount of meat/hide too. Or do Janta missions. 25k a pop and the blood sells for a fortune.

You can make a million credits a day if you have a long day to dedicate to hunting. More, even, between the mission payouts and the resource sales.

And of course, you can keep what meat you need or trade it for the other doc components. Lots of doctors will trade you the other components you need for some high-stat herb or avian meat.

Have fun.
