I have 2 actually!

1. Can you buff?

2. Can I get in Line?

I wrote a FAQ macro to use when all this is going on. It seems to help, somewhat.

I don't sell buffs. I'm not in the mood to deal with the crap that goes with it. But when im off world hunting with my guild and Im buffing them ever once in a while one of them says in spatial "thanks for the buffs". Of course some one sees this and says to me how much for a buff. I say I am not selling them. Then then begg and plead for one. The problem is if I buff one another will show up. Had this happen. Now I just say no and ignore then. Its kinda mean but I'm not in the business of selling buffs.

Long line at Coronet starport. Fellow trandoshan working hard selling buffs. It was obvious he was buffing (how can one miss it?). Then a guy just had to ask me:

Are you in line for buffs?

o.O No, I'm getting fries.

Oh I want some of those too!

Fellow docs,

Although I can understand how certain questions/requests would be worthy of your hate ("Can you buff? Come to/way xxxx, xxxx on Dathomir.), I don't think asking thequestion "Can I get in line?" is a bad thing. As an invitation todo business, itserves a number of reasonable purposes including:

1) Gives the doc an opportunity to quote a price to the newcomer

2) Gives the doc an opportunity to explainto the newcomerspecial rules/requests (e.g. no bank tipping or bank tip to formthe buff line)

3)Gives the doc a chance to turn the customer away. After all, it is possible that he hasrun out of buff packs.

4) Gives the consumer information necessary to make decisions.

Last but certainly not least, the simple request "Can I get in line?" indicates a respect for the doctor's time. Would you rather that he plopped down in front of you and said "Buff me," orsaid nothing and treated you like an NPC vendor?

...

And before you ask, yes, I always used to ask if I could get in line, so perhaps I'm a little biased, lol.

i really dont mind "can i get in line" for all of the above mentioned reason, its just simply polite. What i do hate are people spamming "BUFF ME BUFF ME BUFF ME", or just getting tells with "stats, and lenght now"...
