Thread: Is this Dolovite good enough to get worked up over?

Stockpile it if you don't have better. If a better one spawns, stockpile it too. The stats are random and even the occurrence of dolovite is random, so it's possible there will never be a better dolovite on your server, just as it's possible every future dolovite will be better than this one. There could be a dolovite every month for the next year, or there could be no dolovite for a year. It's your gamble.

There really is no "bad" consequence from stockpiling any resources that could be useful. That dolovite isn't half bad (sad considering the crap spawns it seems to have). Stockpile that stuff, and if better comes along keep it for emergencies or sell it. I stockpile anything that I can, even have 80k of 829 oq herb meat for emergencies, and I had to actually use it, so thank god for stockpiling it

for docs, only OQ matters on Dolovite, so stockpile some, then if better comes in, stockpile it too.. can never have enough good dolovite

Is it only the avian/gas or org/inorg that DR matters on then? It doesn't transfer through the sub-components?

We just had some Dolovite phase in on our server (Kettemoor) thats got decent stats, 750-760 OQ and DR. It's admittedely got a higher OQ than the best stuffI have (pitiful...), but is it worth, in your opinions,stockpiling it considering the drought of even halfway decent stuff that our server has had for a while now?

The only thing that DR matters with is the gas and avian. DR is of course used for the ease of experimentation (low DR makes it so that more points are required, have 171 DR meat that requires 11 points to fill the power bar with), and of course duration. Since none of the components has anything to do with duration the DR won't affect you at all.
So for those that try and find high DR or UT iron, make sure to rethink that
