Hi, I'm a rookie master doc, ok well not me but my alt is, and I want to start crafting my own stuff but I'm having a hard time figuring out a few things and I was hoping for some input on how I should proceed. I want my doc to be fully effectivce and I would like to try making everything myself. I know that I'll always need Lokian wheat and Tattooinian fiberplast so I'm working on those now.
Basically my question is whichmeds are going to be best to make? I'm in the process of gathering resources and I've hit a wall as to what I should be concentrating on. I've read on some sites that making higher grade wound packs is somtimes not cost effective i.e. making action wound B's vs making C's or D's because the the increase in effectiveness vs the cost of making them doesn't work out. The samequestion applies to disease and poison packs as well.Got any suggestions? Also other than the avain, wheat, and fiberplast what are the other most common resources I should concentrate on?

I think the biggest question would be, what type of doctor do you want to be. PVE, PVP and merchant doctors can all focus around different things they want to craft. In my experience PVE docs tend to stick to high lvl stims, cure poison and disease packs, and buffs for themselves and sometimes others. PVP docs tend to do the same as PVE docs but make a lot of the different cure state packs as well, i.e. dizzy, blind etc. Merchant docs tend to stick to stim Bs, wound Bs and in some cases buff packs to sell. So it's all really a question of what type of doctor you're going to be, if we know that then we can definately help you out more. This is a very popular link for all doctors and should help u out a lot. Tells you pretty much everything you need to know about crafting and resources.

When it comes to the wound B vs C's and D's i'd have to agree. With good resources you can make stim Bs around 200 power, more than enough for your average wound heal of 10-200 (especially at master doc). With high powered wound B's even in the worst of cases (CMs) you'd still only use a wound pack about two times on the same stat, definately now more than 3 times.

Thanks for the info that is a great site. It was confusing me a bit that is why I posted here. I took some time to read through some more of it and its starting to makesome sense.
I hadn't really though about what I was going to do with my doc. I know I'm going to make him a CM as well so I imagine I'll be doing some PVP but right now I'm just having some fun doing something different, my other account is a MBH, it's a nice change of pace. In the end I'll probably do a little of both PVE PVP.

I am curious as to how you are going to PvP if your char is a Master Doctor and a Master Combat Medic. Its my understanding that you can only get 3 master skills. For your char, they would be Master Medic, Master Doc, & Master Combat Medic. I know you will mos tlikely have a few skill points left over but no where near enough to effectively PvP. I have only been playing a lil over a week so this is actually an honest question based on how I am understanding the game mechanics. Please don't consider it a flame as that is not how its intended.

That would be VERY tough. I am a master doc and near a master Cm and I am mainly a support guy...I can help a group in PVE but am mainly a healer and solo....no way.

I agree, it's tough to do one on one duels as a doc/cm. However you'll find if you do raids, or do any group PVP you'll be one of the most valuable players because you can rez, heal states, heal dmg, toss disease/poison, and rebuff others. On the doctor side of doc/cm i'd definately have some stim Ds or Es to heal people who are buffed. I'd definately keep some rez packs and some cure poison + disease also. In a group PVP I personally don't bother with cure dizzy, stun, etc. For me it's just too much of a hassel, if you're going to run to someone and risk getting attacked you'd rather be healing them with a stim, rezing, or curing a disease/poison. In my experience it's busy enough keeping everyone healed and trying to counter the effects of a CM.
