Hi so i spent 4 hours on Talus looking for avain meat and i eventallly managed to gather 1k's worth.
So back home i went to try the meat out.... with and improvement from 538 to 648.
So where am i goin wrong please help!!!!

Not sure how your table is set up. Tat fiberplast has OQ, UT, and DR. The OQ is very important for the ABEC, which is where you should get most of your charges when experimenting. If you want decent buffs, both OQ and UT should be above 600, as high as possible. Same for Lokian Wild Wheat, of course.
Overall, you just need to find better resources. It can be time consuming and expensive, but that's what makes great buffs.

Are you experimenting any? Craft in a research city if you can to get better results. As far as sub components, Are you crafting ACRDM or CRDM. as well as ASDS or SDS? The OQetc. is hurting your sub components. Increasing those will help with the power. Overall just keep looking for better resources.

It doesn't look to me like you're experimenting at all. Make sure you experiment as much as you can before you make a prototyp or a schematic.

Anyway, here is the formula I use for my resources, good resources have 80% of the max, great ones have 90%:
ABEC (assuming experimentation for charges):
Lokian Wild Wheat: OQ (max 1000)
Tat Fiberplast: (OQ + UT) / 2 (max 1000)
ACRDM:
Herbivore Meat: (2 * OQ + PE) / 3 (max 900 due to PE cap on herb meat)
Cl4 Liquid PF: (2 * OQ + PE) / 3 (max 1000)
ASDS:
Domesticated Oats: (OQ + PE) / 2 (max 1000)
Dolovite Iron: OQ (max 1000)
Buffs (for power, nice DR is a bonus):
Avian Meat: (OQ + PE) / 2 (max 1000)
Reactive Gas: OQ (max 1000)
Buffs (for duration, nice PE is a bonus):
Avian Meat: (6 * DR + 4 * OQ) / 10 (max 1000)

Zendar,
The other posters are correct that your resources could be a little better. If you check my vendor (waypoint in sig), I may have some resources on there that could help with that (Eskie's formulas are right on for comparing resources).
However, it definitely looks as if you are not experimenting the subs and meds at all. You need to be using a food/chemical crafting tool and be next to a food/chemical crafting station in order to be allowed to experiment on your meds. If you are not clicking on a box that says 'experiment' after your initial assembly, you really need to fix that before going any further.
I am away from the game right now, but I would be happy to meet up with you in a week to help you through this issue if you still need help at that time.
