I'm trying to see if collectively it really IS 1/3 of the time, because right now, I'm lucky to get half.
But I've had inconsistent results in trying to figure out what timer to use on my buffing macro (as well as my wound healing macro). Just as a point of reference, I previously had all of my wound healing timers set to 15.5 seconds (including buffing macro).
I had some luck with 6 seconds...but after about the 2nd set...I started getting messages saying "you must wait 1 second."
I bumped it up to about 7, and still got fails every now and then. I did about 6 sets of buffs at a timer of 7.5 and it worked, then it still failed in the middle of the 7th set.
Keep in mind that I am in our player city up by the krayt graveyard...so not so much lag, I can only imagine the problems I'd have in coronet under heavy traffic. I can move it up to 8 seconds I guess. However, come on, it said 1/3 the time..that should be UNDER 6 seconds.
I'm certainly greatful that it is now half the time, with is much better than the previous minute and a half that it used to take, but I would like to see the promised time. What have other doctors experienced today after the patch?

I can say the samething...
My previous pause was 16 seconds.
I tried 6 seconds and it didnt work on 3rd and 5th buffpack in first set.
I tried 6.5 and 7 and still have problem after a few sets but not tried 8 seconds yet...

Without using a macro, it's exactly 6 seconds between buffs, if you do it manually. Add another half-second or so for the macro to read, so say 7 seconds overall, unless you want to tweak it to perfection. Macros have always been like that, you're adding in a small variable, that under server load can change. I don't actually use a macro to buff, but I've noticed over time that the timing changes, noticably, depending on server load. All I can suggest is try a bit higher timing, 7.7-7.8 secs. The server delay does kinda pile up over time, which is why it doesn't happen all the time. Truthfully, buffing macros were always slower than manual buffing, but the time delay was so large that nobody really noticed.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, this seems to set the consensus at 7-8 seconds if using a macro for standard server conditions, but without a macro it might be faster.

at max perfomance and speed w/ no lagit used to take like 15 seconds, so 1/3 of that is 5.
i can get mine to go at 6 seconds between enhances no problem

hmm...I forgot one variable. It may make a difference if you are using /healenhance action, etc. or if you are using buffpacks in your toolbar and using the /ui action toolbarSlotXX command. In the latter, there is a delay of the buffpack actually being pressed, so maybe by using /healenhance and elimination that delay as a factor you may get more consistent buffs with less than a 7-second pause.
I may do some testing when I get a chance.

I was new to buffing a few weeks back when i made master doc (yay) and I my pauses between buffs was 17 seconds to be on the safe side.
I never used halva to speed this up though. My question is that now the delaybetween buffing has beencutis it still possible to use the halva.....not that you'd need to anyhow, im just curious !
Peace out, one love !........nobleman

You can still use havla, yes...but it is not as "necessary."
It used to be you could use havla to cut off maybe 15 seconds between heals...now havla may take off 4 or 5 seconds, which is not as much.
Also, I did do some testing, and if you use /healenhance, or ANY command that does not involve a pack being placed in a toolbar, you can probably lower the pause by 0.5 to 1 second from what you had if you used a pack in the toolbar.
