Thread: Looking for great stim B's recipe
It's very simple really. This all assumes master doc experimentation.
Get the highest OQ/PE organic you can find. 900/900 stuff will get you about 140 base power
Get the highest OQ inorganic you can find (one without any PE). UT is nice, but focus on OQ. 900 stuff will get you 70 base power
Get the highest OQ/PE Dantooine Berries you can find. 900/900 will get you around 120 base power
Get the highest OQ Talusian Water you can find. 900 will get you around 60 base power
Get the highest OQ/PE Lokian Wild Wheat you can find. 900/900 will get you8 power (experimented for charges)
Get the highest OQ Tatooinian Fiberplast you can find. UT is a bonus, but again, focus on OQ. 900 will get 4 power (and more importantly20charges).
Get the highest OQ/PE herbivore meat you can find. 900/900 will get you around 40 power.
Get the highest Class 4 Liquid Petro you can find. 900 will get you around 20 power.
There it is - the 460/40 Stim B. You can break 400/40 without the ACDRM (the hardest component to deal with).
so 460/40 is the max?
Cool , i made some 403/40 's today , and was wondering how it compares.

No. Use perfect resources (which, of course don't exist on mosy servers) and you can do better. For example, the theoretical max on an ALS appears to be 200 (rather than the 180 I listed). But this would require 1000OQ/1000PE Berries and 1000OQ Water. Also, you can squeeze a tiny bit more power and a few more charges if you have 12 experimentation points instead of 10.
Some servers have never seen Dantooine Berries that top 1800 in OQ + PE. Herbivore Meat that tops 1800 is very tough to find. Of course this is somewhat offset by most servers having an 995+ OQ generic inorganic at some point, or a generic organic that tops 1950 in OQ + PE.

How would one get 12 exp points? BE Clothes?
No, +20 medicine experimentation bonus through looted items (stuff you can wear, or SEAs) just has to total up to it, not be all on one thing. Unfortunately, since they seem to be fairly rare, they're pretty expensive per point I think (like any other experimenting bonus)
Aye, getting the extra points, if you are buying, is very expensive. I'm not sure on other servers, but on Starsider, the general price is 500k per point. So, 10mil just to get those extra 2 points. It is quite crazy, but people are willing to pay that price!
*hugs his +13 belt*
Don't forget, you need something with Unit Toughness to bring the charges up. If neither item in final combine has it, you will be missing out on them. I always use a steel as secondary, since its easier to find stuff with high OQ and UT, the organic will give ya the PE.

Trying to find OQ/PE of 900/900 will be impossible.
Absolutely correct. This was originally posted over a year ago before Lunariel's brilliant work on resource caps was done.
After being a dedicated flora harvester for 18 months, I would also add that 900 OQ Talusian water just isn't very good (minimum OQ is 600, so you ought to be able to do 950 or better with relative ease) and general inorganics with OQ > 975 and general organics with OQ + PE > 1900 are common enough that those should be better targets for someone just getting into Stim crafting.
