I have a few questions concerning disease resist buffs. This is my first time making them and am curious where to put my experiment points.
Im not too concerned with ease of use or charges. My question is what exactly is the absorbtion rate? Not sure wether to put most points into absorbtion and the rest in effect? Or visa versa?
Is effect more important?
Im trying to make resist C's if that matters.
Please help a confused new doc

Absorption is a straight percent decrease in the amount a dot will tick for. So if a master combat medic lands a 300 effectiveness mind poison on you, you will take 600 damage a tick if you have no absorption, 570 damage a tick with 10 absorption, and 540 damage a tick with 20 absorption.
Additionally, the percent reduction makes the dot easier to cure as well.
There is no real consensus on whether max absorptionenhance Cs are better or worse than max resist enhances. There are passionate advocates on both sides. My opinion is that max absorption resists are better when you expect to have good doctor support (make it easier to cure after a poison lands) and max resist enhances are better when you expect to have poor doctor support (make it as hard as possible to land the poison, since you won't be able to cure anything that lands anyway).
What is very clear is the fact that enhance Bs with great, more generic resources are better than enhance Cs with low to mid-quality rare resources. Bs and Cs both use the exact same resist formula, yet finding excellent resources for Bs is far easier than finding excellent resources for Cs. In other words, don't bother with Cs until your resources are pretty good.

For serious pvp I use only C's and I make them with janta blood. No point messing about here, If i use bloods in my C's is not difficult to make them with a 1hr duration 250 resist and 10% absorb.
