Thread: Doc tips. If you're stuck on what to do, please read.
Nine months ago when I started, I made my doc so I could heal myself in battle... didnt know the first thing about the fact that I could buff myself.... After a lil bit of playing I got the hang of many of the nuances, but I never did make my own buffs... yeah Im lazy.
I gotta say I was pissed when the CU hit cuz I was only healing for 200 points, and with all the complaining and Hater/Praiser wars I couldnt get any help to figure out what the hell to do.... (not that I didn't take part in the wars myself, I would very much support a switch back to the old system, but thats not gonna happen no matter how much we complain, quit or whatever)
So anyway I pushed forward with the thought in mind that the devs (in their infinite wisdow *cough*) wouldnt intentionally totally screw over the "clerics" in the game. Took about 24 hours but I think I have this figured out....
Gonna post some of my limited observations, maybe another doc with no clue what to do will read this and not be so frustrated...
1) Advanced bacta jab (with stim Ds at 600 effectiveness) heals for roughly 600-700 points. But you have to use the macro key, clicking the stim will only yield about a 200 point heal.
2) Bacta Infusion. Use it! It heals you and so far as I found 5 others for 150 or so hp every second for 30 seconds. In a battle with something that hits you for 200 damage, its nice for about 10 rounds to only actually take about 50 points rather than the full 200.
This skill is also good for solo players as you can use it on yourself and when the infusion has still left you at about half life, pop a bacta jab and then reapply the infusion. Think of it like a 150 point per second regen ability.
3) When grouping, it helps to stay with your members, but if you have to run off it isnt neccessary to stand next to the person you infused for the effect to stay active. I have saved my group about 9 times the past few hours by simply running by and dropping a quick jab and infusion just before they were incapped.
Thats about it.... so far
I have yet to figure out how to get a good yield in HP healing from the bacta spray, maybe someone else can comment?
Just my 2 cents
