I cannot understand the logic behind this whatsoever....so wanted to see if anyone else could shed some light on this.
In lieu of Doc's losing the medical crafting, I respec'd my char who was TKM / MD / MM to MM / MD / MBE (thank god the med crafting suit is still of use!)
This is something that just escapes my comprehension. After I respec'd I was looking through my new skill trees. I noticed that Instant Stim D's are now the best available stims to use. Here's what gets me though...a new Instant Stim D requires CL 60 to use....and my new template of Master Medic / Master Doctor / Master BE is only a CL 58.
How can a FULL doctor template NOT be able to use the best stim available? That'd be like giving BH's a new pistol or carbine that required CL90 to use

The "logic" is simple, the use of an instant stim has nothing to do with what skills you have, only with your CL. This is the same with many weapons. Most weapons, in fact, do not require any kind of cert, just a CL level. Take a look at clasic comando weapons, there is no cert required, just a CL. So in the case of a FT a master doc can use it but a novice comando can not.
This same "logic" was applied to instant stims.
I am not saying I like this idea, just stating the logic that made it come about.

unfortunately thats the answer i knew was coming.....sad very sad
Any chance of getting that required CL lowered so that a doctor can <insert gasp> actually use the best meds that they can craft? Or is that too radical of an idea?
Let me ask this then....so anyone whohas no doctor/medic skills thats at least CL60 can use the instant stim d's?
