Something that I have notices is that the AI now are drawn to attack support people (aka doctors). i have viewed in recent combat during the 2x XP week that when someone is in combat and I heal them, weather I’m in a group with them or not, I get pulled into battle and what ever was attacking starts to attack me. no I could see this in humans (meat-lumbs or other pirates those AI) they would know how to do that but when an animal bypasses the person or group that started to shoot at them to incapacitate me that's a little hard to understand where they would get that intelligent. To me the developers would need to revamp the AI so that only humans AI would know to take down a doctor would the the route to go or at the lease make the animal have a slight percentage to do so.

What is the point to heal/buff others outside of combat? Since we do not gain xp for healing or buffing outside of combat what would be the incentive to do so? Sure you could charge someone for heals to make money but really there is no other incentive.

Combat XP only for Medical XP is odd. You only get it when that person is in combat (not before not after only in combat) is, I'm sorry to say, hard to swallow. There should be something more there. If the person you are healing kills the animal your xp stops. If they stop fighting your xp stops. If they are incapacitated your xp stops. It doesn't seem to make it worth being a doctor to give up fighting to heal someone and to hope u timed your healing right to get the xp. To me if the Developers gave partial xp for Heals outside of combat that would be worth something and to revamp the XP for combat to cover incapacitations or the time after combat when your healing others of the fighting group to still gain xp. But I must say giving no XP at all for Healing or Buffing outside of combat is sorta foul play or something not considered fully by the developers.

What's the point of Medical Cities? Foods? Bio Engineered clothing? Droids? Hospitals? They don't seem to work to enhance anything we do. You no longer get any bonuses or need them any longer to help you heal or buff so why have them or give them back a meaning.

Better documentation by SWG and Sony also needs to be given. When i ask for help by the CS all i get is generic answers. no holocron docs really give any answers. nothing on their web site gives any insight. If your going to change the system of play then you need that documentation for everyone to under stand it. Also to post why you wanted to make that change.

I agree some professions were getting stagnant and people wanted to do it yourself for everything. Now we are all co-dependant on one another for people that can use high end buffs but can't make them or people that can make high end buffs/stims but can't use them. Who liked to see Doc's not heal anyone and justheal the tumbler or just log in to buff and not do anything else. Granted changes were needed and though some steps to stop all that people & developers didn't like weresetup, no consideration was really, that i could find, developed to make the profession or game balanced fully. It was purely rushed into live when the developers had all the time to fully think how to stop the things they didn't like but keep the game fun. You can tell unlike the original pre CU SWG this post CU SWG is not as developed or well rounded. I would like for the developers to talk to the people on why they did what they did and the steps they are planning on rounding out this game. I belive it would bennifit everyone for them to get input on possible solutions to issues the community has.

Excellent post!

I agree that more communication would help very much, too. The only answers we have are from the 3 questions to the devs by Marrow (which was greatly appreciated on his part, but it would have been nice if the devs actually answered them). All they keep saying is "This is working as intended."

Well, what the heck are their real intentions, then? Why don't they tell us how the system is supposed to be working?

Sadly those were the correct answers until we prove the devs wrong. We are not the strongest 1:1 healer dispite what we do. Enhancers are freaking worthless. I have yet to use any cure pos / dis, state effects, or bleed removers. Revive is all borked to heck.

Until we get solid info and present it in a way to makes sense, the devs are going to continue to give answers like that. The thing thats frustrating for me is everyone is still hung up on freaking crafting rather than getting solid evidence that Doc is not working correctly.

I agree totally. It just would be nice for the devs to say something about how it should work so we know what to look for.
