I am looking for any tips or strategies for playing a doc in a PvP situation. Post about things like healing timing, when/when not to use abilities, and things like that.

Depends on the situation, really. I find myself tossing heals to others, buffing them and removing states, and trying to chain heals. Drags are also very good. Reviving takes a long time so you have to find a safe spot to revive them. Once you're picked out as the healer though, you'll spend a lot of time just keeping yourself alive.

Docs are as how CM's were in PVP, take them out first

The most effective thing I seem to be able to do at the moment is provide combat speed buffs... and a little healing....fire cures..

In all honesty I felt I had more of acombat role in the old system.
