Thread: Need fix for Doc Profession ASAP
Don't see the fun in it when soon as you heal a group member your pretty much dead in less then 5 seconds after healing... Join a group of atlest 6-7 people and you will see what i mean, In a group that big your party will be fighting 3-4 creatures at a time and soon as you heal one person all of those creatures are going to concentrate on you. So your pretty much toast... I found the best way to perform my doctor skills was not to heal anyone andwait until everyone was dead, then I couldRes them so we could continue... Oh yea lots of fun.......
And my profession is Novice Pistoleer / Master Doc ... So I don't have the tankin skills to survive a 4 on 1.... Actually i don't think any profession can take that on unless the creatures are way below your lvl.
If they don't change this, I'll defiantly respec into something else... Which would bea shame because on my server its getting really hard to find a Doc.
I send a challange out to any Dev out there to join a group hunt as a Master Doc / Pistoleer and see how long they survive and then see if they think its fun.... I have a feeling none of the Dev's even played the Doc profession to see how fun it would be... Gotta luv the nerds who sit behind the desk making decisions without ever trying there ideas out first to see if they work...
Bad enough that they took an original game like SWG and made it into EQ2 in space which they swore they would never do..... go figure....
I think its ment to work that way Tunturi. Healing should agro the mobs - thats the real challenge of playing a healing class; keep your group alive without drawing agro.The question however is where this line should be.
I recently started on SWG and hitted Novice Doctor yesterday. I have played all sorts of healing classes in other games like DAOC - WoW -GW- EQ2, and I most say that healing in SWG draws agro ALOT quicker than in other games.
