Thread: need help trying to decide about respecing my character...

hi there,
I am master doc, master medic...been playing for a year and a half now. can I respec my character to bounty hunter or commando? which profession makes good money now that doc's really can't? another silly question, what the heck does "CU" mean? i guess i cannot buff myself anymore which is why i became a doc. i am getting ready to do the warren, does this mean i can go through there without getting buffed at all? also, i had a bunch of buff packs, what did they get turned into now? what are enhancers, do I need to buy any of those before trying to do the warren? have any other of you veteran doc's out there been playin enough this week to see if you like or dislike doc now? i am really bummed now, i only had time to play everyone in awhile, and now it's looks as though from what everyone is saying in the forums that Doc sucks now. thanks in advance for any advice and help you give me.

1. Yes, Doc skills can be used for any other Combat Elite Prof skills. Medic skills can be swapped for any non-elite Combat prof.
2. Non of the combat prof are any more likely to make money over any other (unless your counting BH missions). A doc has a slight edge as people do tend to tip with wound healing or other services. Rezing Jedi, for example, can pay rather well (I have gotten several 50k+ tips for just few minutes of riding out of town and rezing).
3. Assuming your a lvl 80 toon (2 combat masteries) you will have 3k ham. The regen buffs are still helpful.
4. I believe the warren is still rather easy but I have not been there in a while.
5. CU = Combate Upgrade

I have 2 templates with Mater Doc- one with TKM and one with Pistoleer.
The Pistoleer rockz after the CU, the TKM is not so powerful anymore, but when uget used to it can be very good. BH is very powerfull now, especially if u combine it with Pistoleer or Carbineer (Pistoleer's Stopping Shot is a must have

).In the Warren u now find Mobs at CL50 - CL60, which means ushouldgo in a group (best with someone who knows the way).U can handle CL 50-60 mobs with a master combat prof easily, butas soon as there are groups of 3 or more ucan hardly survive solo.There not many area attacks left - and the cone shots u get with ranged profs shouldnt be used in dungeons like the warren, as they agro all the mobs in the direction of the shot - even behind walls.
