Thread: Anyone made 50 skill res packs?

Using the best resources available to me i always end up with 51 skill res packs, meaning i have to waste a point on experimentation to get them down to 50 skill.

Obveously this isn't a problem for me as my personal use packs don't need to be 50, but for sale they do and i could get another charge for that point, it just bugs me

I use a 998/998 organic, or a 994/952, my inorg is a 972/952.

does PE matter on the inorganic resource?


it doesnt note PE on the draft schematic for inorganic ingredient

As a rule, you're looking for OQ and PE on organics, and OQ and UT for inorganics.

PE is 33% towards efficiency on most products
UT is 33% towards charges

If you use an inorg with PE (like a chem) it will be averaged with the organics PE, not added to, so it won't change much, but becuase it had PE, it won't have UT, so you lose a lot of charges.

whats the point of getting them down to 50? you have to be a doctor to revive, and at novice doctor you already have med use of 55.

Looks like all my res packs will have more charges from now on.


This has bugged me every time i make res packs, but i've never actually gone back and checked that novice doctor = 50 i think i had 50 in my head from master medic, forgot about the +5 for novice doctor.

Heh you're losing it Jingo


On a similar note, I notice my Wound C packs always come in at Med Use 51 (using exact same Org/Inorg as Jingo), and I have to spend a pt to get it to 50 (usable by Master Medics then)


Has anyone been able to get a base Med Use50 Wound C pack?

Correct me if I'm wrong but you need /revive player to use res kits. Therefore you have to have Novice Doctor -- therefore you have to have +55 med use. So what's the point of experimenting them down to 50? Or is Novice Doctor only +50? (I thought master medic was 50)

Guys,


Sorry to burst your bubble, but Rez Packs require the /reviveplayer skill which is granted at Doctor 0,4,0,0. So the lowest you need to make it is 55 (med use for Novice Doc).


See, Docs are useful for something!
