Thread: Why I'm quitting the game.

Hello,

This isn't going to be the first or last post someone makes about the state of the game and why it made them quit, but here aremy thoughts.

Basically it comes down to one simple fact. The game is incomplete. I'm tired of playing a game that was released one year before it should have been. Professions are broken, there are exploits, bugs, very little content, and the list goes on. Now, all of these things the devs are working on fixing, but that's just it. It should have been fixed before release. No one expects a perfect game on launch, but this is out of control. I have the upmost respect for the development team as they've done a great job with damage control. The ones I do not have respect for are the money men, who pushed the game out. They hide in the background remaining nameless while the dev team takes the heat on the front lines.

This game has a lot going for it. The craftinginterface is great, combat (at least as a doctor/CH) isquite challenging, and the theme parks, while I didn't personally enjoy them, are a step in the right direction.Maybe in 6-12 months I'll have a reason to play.

So, why am I posting this in the doctor forum? I suppose I've been a doctor above all else. Choosing CH was so I could kill things. I always came here, occasionally gave my thoughts, andskippedthe posts in the other forums.

Thanks for being a great community. Zarlor, you do a great job, and a very thankless one. Keep playing those doctors. It's a great profession.

Farewell

Im sorry that you feel that way. Yes, the game is buggy and it will be a long time before its deemed 'ready' by many players who have been playing since Beta.

Maybe we'll see you again when vehicles come out

Take it easy, man. Who knows, maybe you'll come back in a few months after we get some fixes in...hopefully we'll actually have a Dev response by then

Yeah, good luck with it. Some of us will still be here sticking it out to see if we can get the changes in that the game really needs. So maybe a good 6 months down the road, you'll have a game worth playing more. (Wait, you mean I'm PAYING to Beta test this game? Well, it's cheaper than what the Cable company rips me off for. )
