Thread: Few Questions on Components/Enhancers
Ok im a master doctor but still havent figured out exactly what the BEC CRDM and SDS do as in which controls eff, charges and ease of use..
If anyone knows and cares to enlighten id me most apprecative. As well ive noticed that the difference in the regular SDS and the adv SDS matters little especially when making D enhance... And since Dolovite hasnt been on my server in well over a month and a half, ionly have a few units left so im thinking i can just use my OQ 999 metal for my SDS.
Seems to me that the Adv SDS at like 50 odd power i think has no benefits over a Reg SDS of a power rating of 18.
Right now im making an enhance Ds but the charges are only coming out at 14% wondering if anyone could tell me a way to get the charge rating higher??
My question was WHAT do BEC CRDM LS SDS do in crafting as to EFF,CHARGEs,EASE OF USE
i experiment with everything...

As far as what they do for ease of use, I don't think anything. I believe Ease of Use (at least the abse value of that attribute) is governed by the resources that you used to make your item. Using high quality resources may dro your base ease of use by a point or two. Of course, if you really want to bring it down, you'll have to experiment on ease of use.
But, a word of warning, experimenting on an enhancement pack will make the pack more difficult, not easier, to use. This is a bug that is pretty widely known by the doctor community and I know it's been bugged many times over.
Well, if you are experimenting you should notice in that little upper left-hand window tha the stats for that particular item is changing when you experiment on them, not to mention the names of hte bars you are experimenting on, both tell you exactly what stats those things will effect on the final product.
Like BECs have both a Charges and a Power rating and you can experiment on both of those things. You may notice, though, that the rate of return on power is pretty small compared to something like an LS or CRDM. So most folks do Charges on BECs. Power is the only thing you can experiment onwith SDSs, LSs and CRDMs.
Their final stat adds directly to the stat on the final product. So if you make a BEC with 10 charges, then you would be adding 10 charges to the total charges available from, say, a Stim B. The only thing to keep im mind is that in the case of those items that require multiples of a single component (like 3 identical BECs from a factory crate) only the stats from 1 of those multiple items will be used, it just needs 3 of them to make the item. The stats don't add up or anything, it just uses the stats from one of them.
