Thread: Huge Buff Problem, please read
Not sure if this has been posted here, but I got a call from a guild mate in trouble last night needing my help. The poor guy was stuck in the clone facility alive, IE not a corpse, but he had negative health stats because of wounds. What I mean is, his default health pool was 800 and he had 1232 health wounds. Now, this wouldnt have been a huge problem for me if he was anywhere but the clone center cause guess what? you cant heal wounds in the clone center even with a med droid...
so just slowly drag him up the ramp you say? no go either. every time you drag a corpse within the clone center it just skips between cloning tubes and doesnt really come to you. the solution however came to me. its rather hard to explain but i'll try. keep doing /drag inside the clone center until the corpse ends up in the tube just to the right of the exit ramp (as you are in the bottom facing the exit...). then, walk up the ramp and just outside the doorway to the clone center so that you are barely out of the building. at this point you'll be 25m away from the body. do /drag again and because this game has horrible pathfinding code, it'll just warp him through the walls right to your feet where you can then fix up the player outside the confines of the no/wound clone center.
how did someone end up this way? He was buffed before engaging a master commando and managed to obtain more wounds than he could normally sustain because of the rediculously overpowerd flame dot. as a tkm/medic, it was likely a long drawn out fight, hence he took tons of wounds trying to stay alive. this is really an enormous problem with buffs and the way this game works. if this issue has not been discussed with any developer, Zarlor, i IMPLORE you to do so. something needs tobe done about this immediately as it has the potential to render someone useless until they can raise a CS response (lord knows thats never a quick item). to my knowledge, not even a server re-set could fix this matter...
also, to those of you who may suggest alternatives to this problem, the following failed: he was not able to duel me or accept my challenge. the quickwound function would not work on him. /eject did not work either. relogging failed, as did restarting the computer. as i mentioned, only a very tricky use of /drag was able to get him to safety.
please, all of you read and share this knowledge. I dont want people loosing countless hours of game time to a monumental testing oversight by the developers. and Zarlor, please make sure they are aware of this ASAP
It happened to me after I ran into a commando with a flamethrower while fully buffed and the solution is to drag the incapped player. I know that it doesnt work well, but trust me it takes a long time and a bit of luck and you will have the player in town. BTW, it took about 5 minutes of solid dragging to get me to stop popping from one tube in the cloning facility to another and then finally outside. Have patience....it does work, but like most things in SWG just not all that well.

Happened to me on Sunday due to fighting a Greater duen Kimogina while using Muon.
I opened a ticket with a CSR, within 2 minute a CSR was there and fixed me...
I have helped alot of people, rebel and imp, by dragging and wound healing. Always surprises them when I heal 900 with one healthwound pack. ![]()
if you are stuck this way, either open a ticket like has been said, or do a search for doctors in town, then ask him/her nicely in a tell to come help you. Dont forget to tip. ![]()

Same. I opened a ticket and the CSR was there in a few minutes, i saw the message "you have been GM revived", and he was gone again
I guess they are dealing with it a lot.
Unscrupulous commandos on my server are trying to cause this as a griefin PvP. They incap you, wait till you stand, then flame you again so you get more wounds, wait till you stand, toast you again, until your third incap sends you to the cloning centre with a high chance of the perma-incap bug. I've had this done to me twice in a week.
