Thread: Stim-D's: should I use Adv Bio Controllers?
I read the following stated about stim-D's:
"Don't bother using Advanced Bio Controllers in these, as the computer can't seem to recognize the difference between normal and advanced when you have to use more than one of the same component, like in this with the requirement for 2 bio controllers."
Does anyone know if this is still true? I just purchased all the resources for a large run of Adv. Bio Controllers and would hate to waste them.
Thanks,

I use Advanced components in just about everything I make. The reason isI usually have a few loose ones around (failed experimentations, orphaned from a crate, etc). As you become a high level doc, you usually can afford to drop a few more experimentation points into charges so you aren't crafting for yourself as often so while the benefit of advanced components in a higher level item is diminished, the cost/extra resource involved is negligable. Also, rather than gathering and carrying around both resources for advanced components and high quality "normal" resources, you can carry just the resources for the advanced components.
As far as advCRDMs, I try to reserve my best ones for enhance packs (particularly the two regen stats) though.
ABECs make a large difference in the high end medicines that require multiple's. This is especiallytrue if you focus your ABEC experimentation on the number of charges, you can really boost the totalcharges you have in your enhance d's, for instance.
