I have tried going the Master Doctor Route to compliment my Master Creature Handler. But, I have come to the following conclusion that you all already know. Medical Grinding SUXORS.

I don't do macros, not claiming everyone else has, but we know a few who have, I like manually working my character at all times.

Iwas 4/4/4/0in the doctor profession, and have dropped it to 4/4/2/1 because I want to keep my MCH and at least some pistol skill in Marksman.

So, to any and all of you who made Master Doctor without a macro program grinding for you.

"My sincerest and deepest congratulations at the time you have put into your craft."

I will still make kits, but I'm not going to spend a day like yesterday doing nothing but crafting at an average of 35 xp per item. SHEESH And as for factory crates giving xp, I haven't seen any of that either.

galpar. all you need is really Low quality Lokian Wild Wheat and Tattoonian Fiberplast ..and Grind ABEC. It gives you 80xp per pop. double's the speed on getting your doc crafting.

Adv. Bios are the way to go...

Oh and when 90% of us say "Macro" we're not talking about a program that's running and doing it for us.

We're talking about crafting "step" marcos. Like a Pistoleer's opening attack macro.

We use simple 4 line macros that help "finish" the crafting steps.

Example...

Open crafting kit. -- Pick Schematic -- Load ingredients -- *Click finish Macro button*

All that crafting Macro does is automatically fire off the last few button clicks (By using the /nextCraftingStep command)

This way you can repeat over and over that line just using more then one crafting tool while the pervios one is counting down the build timer.

lol yea it was hell crafting for me too, and i had to do it twice! both with combat medic and master doc, but having master doc then starting combat medic was very easy, i got all my xp very, very fast, so i was happy about that. but crafting does suck, i never used a macro or ne thing, just did it the old fasion way....

As the others said, I too discovered that the fastest way to grind out exp was ABEC's. . . but it was still a lot of grinding. . . I wore out the left button on my mouse LOL (to be fair, I also play a first-person shooter quite a bit which also 'excercises' my left mouse button lol).

Thanks for the appreciation, but frankly, it was rather easy.

Grinding is hard and boring.

Making ABECs, then making Stim Bs, then selling them on the Bazaar on Endor-Lok-Dath when travelling there with my groups was fast and easy. Plus I made some cash.

I never destroyed anything I made. As a Doc, there is a good market for our goods at most levels.

I didn't grind a bit, but I still got there fast by just playing.

I didn't macro or anything to craft, but I DID focus solely on ABEC's. When Hurricane Isabel blew through here and shut my job down for a day, I just basically did the crafting grind (Was about 10,000 crafting xp away from Expert Crafting when I started). When I ran out of Loki wheat, but still had Tat fiberplast, I took the shuttle to Lok, hand sampled and crafted along the way. When I reached a point where I was crafting faster then sampling, I shifted over to Injection Amplifiers (alum + reactive gas), at about 56xp each, was still better than regular BEC's.

Played on and off throughout the day. Then finally, around midnight, hit the magic xp mark and shuttled to Coronet (which was on my way "home") and hit the NPC trainer for Master Crafting and then Master Doctor.

(And to the original poster, thanks! I appreciate the praise personally.)

if you can do Advanced infection amplifier - can't beat 120xp with 29 second craft time. the only problem is finding the titanium aluminum to do it with elton isn't as hard to find.

don'twaste your precious lokian wild wheat on grinding!!!!
