Going to be playing on Bria, and was wondering if there is a prefered race for Doctor?

Never been one.

Mon Cal are the best followed by Zabrak.

How do the Ro---------- (lizard guys) do?

That is subjective... Depends on what else you want to do. If you want to be a doc/artisan then I'd agree with Mon Calamari being better than Zabrak, but if you want to be able to fight well too? Zabrak is better.

All that I've found is that the higher your mind pool, focus, and willpower are the better. Transdoshians (lizard people) are not the brightest folks out there, but they are smarter than Twi'leks which were listed as intelligent in the racial descriptions... If you really want to know for yourself, create 1 character of each race and play with stat migration for them all. You'll notice a pattern that repeats for all 8 races. (Transdoshians and wookies get more total points, but they wear less and no armor respectively)

Either way, maximize your Mind, Focus, and Willpower and you'll do fine...

Depends entirely on the entire character plan.

I have a Doc/ Carbine spec... Rodian... works great.

Have done Trando TKA/doc. also worked great.

Have done Twi Musician/crafter/Doc worked great.

If you want to stand around and just heal a group. Zabrak and Wookie are good deals.. along with Mon-cal. Anything can work...

As long as you don't use very much tenddamage or tendwound the race doesn't really matter that much, I have a twi that's master music and 3 skills in doctor and I don't run out of mind unless I use those abilities, I do have maxed secondaries on mind though (maxed secondaries on action too). Even if reviving people and buffs drain more mind than healing damage and wounds you don't use those nearly as often so that's not much of a factor imo.

Being a zabrak rifleman/doctor is working great for me..

pure healer = mon cal

fighting doctor = zabrak
