Hi all

This is mainly for Farstar people but all servers can apply to this.
If your server is organised please let us know how and what you do

OK:
We need to sort out coro on Farstar, some plans are trying to be set in motion for this.
Buffing.
we need to delegate one spt and set some guidlines for us buffers:

As you come out of the starport the left side of the starport is clear(nearest to exit of starport)
Could we buff there, or anyone got a better location?

Now all show your master doc titles when you buff so we dont get accused of scamming as there are some out there.

Get people to que or something, its maddness isnt it.
If we get people ti sit infront of you and then behind each other, if they want a buff, then if we all do it people will get the idea and always do it.
At least tell them to sit down.

We all only accept bank tips, check mails and buff in order, so thats cool all ready.

Thanks for your time guys, lets help sort out coro

The Doctor forums don't seem too busy. You should try your main board or just talk to any doctors you see in Coro buffing.

We don't seem to have much of a problem on Sunrunner; it pretty much works the way you described it.

What kind of problems does your server have that you're trying to solve?

As far as this whole Master Doc only buffing, it is silly. The difference between a 2200 and a 2500 buff is insignificant. I'm not a master doc and I buff for friends, my guild, and occasionally the public. Just depends on what I'm in the mood to do.

99% of the population is looking for a 2000+ 3-3.5hr buff. A lot of people can deliver that.

Why ruin your rep on a server for 30k? You could run missions and make that in like 5 minutes. I

People like the master doc title not for being a master doc but for tipping.

Some have got a droid out and a doc dress and advertised buffing, people have tipped, the tell them they are next in line, then after they have made 30-50k they run off.

As for Farstar. There are buffings all over the place, 20 peple standing round or on top of the docs, nor organisation, cant read messages because of spam, its a mess.

Well, as far as Kett is concerned... we don't have these problems. Any of them, actually, as far as i know. Customers are polite and behaved, Know without being told to form a line, only tip when it's their turn-- again, without being told-- sometimes gripe about the line but never actually complain that it's taking too long... they always thank you when you're done; they always ask if they're not sure about something (like price) they rarely hassle you if you're not buffing, beyond asking politely if you could do so...

I've never heard of anyone scamming buff lines like that on Kett. The medical community tends to be friendly there, and many of us know each other, and competition doesn't get extreme. Often a doctor, packing up for the day, will direct the rest of his line to a Doctor he knows that is just arriving. patients are polite, the Docs are polite... i don't know how it happened, but I like it.

My suggestion to you is to start the trend small. You, and a few of your Doc buddiescan start by putting instructions in your /shouts. Be polite. i find something like "Master Doc buffing! 2400+ for 3 hours to all stats! Cost is 10K. Please form a line in front of me and only tip when it is your turn-- thank you." works rather well. if you're worried about cuts and shoving, you might add a notice that cutting in line, and other problematic behaviour towards other customers will result in a denial of service. If you're REALLY worried about problem-children, so to speak, get some Really heavy-hitting PvP friends or something to stand around with you, fully buffed and armored, as guards to make sure it's orderly. It's best if they're practiced duelists. be consistant, and people will learn what to expect. Your regulars will start doing exactly what they're supposed to without being asked, and other people will follow the example. the human condition is such that if someone sees a line in front of where they're going, 90% of the time, they'll get into it whether told to or not. Habit and conditioning and good business practices will be your best weapons.

Oh. Along those lines, It might help you if you recruited some friends or guildies or something to come lend a hand by forming the initial line. ger 4-6 people you know to come with you when you start buffing, and have them line up in an orderly fashion to set an example when you start advertising. Also, keep your master tag OFF until you're ready to start, then turn it on and fire off your advertisement. When you're done, tell people who your last person is in advance, and turn the tag back off.
