When will we be able to actually run a mission to get creds AND Med XP at the same time?

"Missions: New mission terminals added for Artisan (crafting, and surveying missions), Entertainer (musician and dancer gig missions) and Explorer (hunting missions, and recon) mission types."

Crafters have them now, Entertainers have them Now, and there are even Scout Based ones...

So who think we should get some Medical Missions next?

It would be nice to have medic missions. I'm sure they will get them in at some point since they added them for those other professions.

I can see the exploits forming already...hybrid medic/any-combat-class GCW players take medic missions to go and heal a bunch of almost-dead stormtroppers and instead of healing them, runs in and wipes em all out, picking up a bunch of rebel faction points...

I really like the idea though. I'm sure they'll put something in place to avoid the above scenario....

Well yeah, but you wouldn't get the 'Heal the stormies' missions unless your an imp. Same situation goes for Rebels. If your neutral then you'll probably get some hapless villagers or someones pet(s) etc. I dont think anyone actually reads the story behind the missions, most of them are lame "This XYZ creature has been bugging me for ages, I want you to take them out", so why cant we have simple "Heal these people" type missions?

Just would be good to see medics actually being used in the GCW rather than them being on the sideline waiting for injured people to wander by.

Yes I have to cast my vote for this one.

I think it is more for the money factor than for xp. At least it would be for me.

I am planing on going doctor and combat med andthat doesnt leave much room for much else. Especially where money making is concerned.

Everyone can do delivery missions for cash. Plus for most they can dosomething different anddo the other mission types now available. It would be nice to have that option as well, for money and for variety.

Ditos, this could be fun. Another interesting one could be "rescue this guy" missions or "retrieve this body" missions.

The first would require the "Drag Incappacitated player" command and the other would of course be the drag command.

I would love to see this. And then we would have a whole bunch of medics running around healing each others targets, as with the FP missions.

Hell, the only limit to the medic missions would be your imagination.

I mean, another idea would be that a mission is to join a NPC group as they attack something and you go along as the healer, thus getting both medical & combat xp. Obvoisuly it means that there would be some fiddling with grouping, but im sure it would be easy for some NPC's to assume the role of Pets for a while so you can group and heal them while they run through a pre-defined mission route.

I posted this on the Medic forums, and thought it apporopriate for here, too.

Ok, so all the other starting profs have mission terminals:
Artisan-Artisan Mission Terminal
Brawler-Mission Terminal
Entertainer-Entertainer Mission Terminal (apparently soon to be better)
Marksman-Mission Terminal
Scout-Explorer Mission Terminal

Medic-NOTHING

Why have the medics been excluded from all this fun? Why not let us have terminals? A few suggested types would be:

Wounds - Travel to an NPC with some wounds, heal them, they pay you on the spot
Details: At nov medic maybe they'd have like 50 wounds or so, eventually getting worse and at master doc maybe really bad wounds like 1000 or more
Poison - you have to get there, cure poison, then heal wounds
Disease - Get there, heal disease, heal wounds, but if you don't get there in time, the patient dies and you fail the mission.
Rez - Dead NPCs that you can go out and Rez, again with a timer on it so if you dont get there in time, you fail the mission

Yes, I do realize that most mission terminals only have 2 categories.. so maybe all of these would be labeled under something like "House call" with difficulty level determening the severity of it.

As always Comments/Ideas would be thanked and Please, dont flame
