Thread: Do all you master Docs make all your own buffs or buy them?

I just hit master Doc a couple days ago but was at great america for the weekend so this is my 1st time accually looking for buffs, but I can't find any good buff packs. So my Q is do all you Master Doctors buy your own buff packs or make them? Im looking for Buffs that give at least 2200, and I doubt Iwould be able to make my own that would even be close to that.

Well, getting all the resources to make good buff packs take a decent amount of time. I've just now now got all the resourcesI needed. A little more Avain meat and I'll start making my own. Buying packs cost more money however you can still make money off them by selling them on the street. So IMO either way is good you just make more money by making your own but in the same breath you have a lot more work to do. However if you make your own you can sell the packs on a vendor for big bucks.

I make my own, but what I did was collect resources during my grind of Doctor, by the time I became one only needed avian meat to make buffs. Its too expensive to buy IMO, well on my server. But for a starting master Doc its good just get him/her started.

Well i never bought sets of buffs,i did buy one pack one time and it was an A,dude ripped me off cause i was a noob Doc and didnt know what i was doing,payed like 5k for it lol.
There is a lot invloved in making your own,either you buy your components or you will need a factory or factories, i run 6.
Say your making a health enhance pack,you need 3 abec with the same serial (from a factory) 2 acrdm same serial and 1 asds, 28 avian and 28 reactive gas.(high oq and pe and decent dr)
You can use regular components but for 2200 buffs you will prob need advanced.
Its really up to the player ,a lot buy there buffs but a lot make them also,its just how committed you are.

Buy your packs, but stock up on good resources meanwhile, then at some point you will be able to make your own.

If you don't have good materials and at least one factory to make crates of the advanced components, then you will probably have to purchase them.
Ask other docs on your server for locations or if they have any available for sale.
An 875 buff rating pack will get you a buff of 1900 or above with BE clothes and Bivoli and a Med Droid of 110. Most people are happy with buffs over 1500 and a duration of over 3 hours.
900rating buff packs have to be made with +900 OQ and +900 PE materialsto get them that high. Those materials are quite expensive and generally not someing a new doc has.

I personally make my own but Songe is exactly right. When I first started I bought til I could make. Even with bio clothes, bivoli, and every other investment, you will AT LEAST DOUBLE your money every buff set you buy. It's a great way to offset the cost of the grind + power harvestors and make a little spending cash while you wait to get the stuff 2gether.

I buy i refuse to waste the amount of time it takes to collect the resources run factory crates yadda yadda to make buffs when i can fly 5 minutes away and buy em less than 500k for crate sets.

I've found the crafting to be a lot of fun. But it took me 4 weeks to accumulate everything I needed, and I still ended up spending $3 million for the stuff I couldn't get myself (Dolovite, Class 4, Reactive Gas and Wild Wheat). Getting the Avian, in particular, was a grind. But I ended up with enough of almost everything to make 300 sets.
But my buffs turned out awesome - 875/11275 with 25 charges.And while I originally thought I'd drop master and be a 0/4/4/0 doctor, I now plan to keep master and be a med supplier.

Best way is to gather resources through bazaar and/or harvesting as you work your way up doctor. Then, make a few buffs sets, sell each application for 10k, use the money to get enough resources for an entire crate of each buff, then be rich
