Someone on the Naritus trade forum is saying that the DR doesn't matter on this Av that spawned. My understanding, from this forum, is that DR - particularly in the Av and Reactive Gas - controls buff duration. Will someone please confirm for me that this is the case? Naritus has this Dathomir Av meat that is like OQ960, PE 900 with a DR of 30.
Also, even with DR 30, if matched with Gas with a DR of 774 - what kind of duration would you expect?

The DR of the Gas and Avian is the only thing that controls buff length. The sub-components don't offer any DR into the mix.
If I were you, I'd be looking for a minimum of 1000, adding the DR of the Gas and Avian together. I don't have my resources in front of me right now, but unless you have some amazing DR in your gas, that avian is not worth much at all. With 700DR gas I'd guess you would get 1.5-1.75 hour buffs.
If anyone has any better idea, please do correct me

I'd expect about 2 hour 35 minute (9.2-3k second) buffs with those 2 resources.
OQ also contributes to dr (from both the gas and the avian...)
We had a meat with dr of 7 on valcyn... 2.5 hour buffs when mixed with 650-ish dr gas, 2.66 hours when mixed with 880-ish dr gas.
