Thread: Question Medical Center/Hospital

After searching everywhere on these forums I am unable to find a definative answer to a couple of questions regarding medical centers and Hospitals.
How may lots does each take? I have seen different answers..... Medical Center - 7 Hospital - 3
May both of these be declared as residences?
At what city level may these be placed?
If a city dwindles away can these structures remain as placed?
Can crafting stations be placed in a hospital?
Will a hospital stay registered on the planetary map after a city dissapears and the stucture remains? (If possible)

There is only one structure. We use med center and hospital interchangeably. It takes up 3 lots.

Yes
At what city level may these be placed?
I think 3. I know it's one level larger than the cantina rank. Someone else should confirm.
If a city dwindles away can these structures remain as placed?
If it decreases below the correct size, the hospital definitely remains. I would guess it would remain even if the city disappears. Once placed, the hospital acts as a player structure rather than a city structure. I'm sure someone has actually seen their city go *poof* and could better answer this.
Can crafting stations be placed in a hospital?
Yes. They hold 225 items. There are no other item restrictions. Incidentally, vendors can be placed in them as well.

This is a complete guess, but I would assume so. You can place more than 1 hospital in a city and each will be registered separately on the map. Additionally, the is no city maintenance involved with hospitals. So I am assuming that once placed, a hospital is completely separate from the city, so if the city disappears, the registration would not.
