True, and Not True.
True:
I find it very doubtful, at the least, that the above listed template will reach level 80. Too many Novice boxes to build up the necessary skill points.
Not True:
My spouse is currently a MCM, Carbines 4443, and Doc 4---, and is level 80. It does not require two elite master boxes to reach L80 (as demonstrated by her current template), but it has been my experience that two master boxes will guarantee L80: any other combination gets a bit more unpredictable.

No, you don't need to master two profs to get cl80. I do know that, at least. I'm trying to find a viable way to determine what DOES get you CL80 without having to go the whole way to find it doesn't get me there.

It has something to do w/ the ammount of xp you have invested in skill boxs. So you need at least the equiv of 2 master professions in xp spent on skill boxs.

you get 1 combat level for every box in the tree except the forth box for which you get 2 combat levelsadded and 4 for master.

That's been my observable behavior as well ( from Fencer ), but the elite profession boxes don't tell the story. By that formula, two elite professions ( not counting base requirements ) would generate:
2 * 4 ( master boxes ) = 8
8 * 2 ( top-tier boxes ) = 16
24 * 1 ( other boxes ) = 24
2 * 1 ( assuming Novice boxes get a CL ) = 2
Total = CL 50.
We're still missing 30 levels, so lets dig into Novice prerequisites. Simple case : TKM/Doc. If every box in the novice section gave an increase to CL ( which it doesn't, based on experience ), you would add in:
4 * 4 = 16
For a total of CL 66.
Adding one more for the Novice boxes ( again, I don't think they apply, but whatever )
2 * 1 = 2
For a total CL of 68.
We're still 12 CLs short for a known CL 80 template, so there are other factors that weigh in to the equation. I don't disagree that the Pistols profession awards XP in that fashion, but the equation for CL seems to be more complicated that so many CLs per box.
As a result, I didn't provide a formula in my answer about how to reach CL80: I merely stated that it was possible without two Masteries ( via personal experience ).
