Thread: a crafting, buffing doc, plz help!

I am pretty new to this CU and doc buffing. I was a pre-cu crafting-buffing doc and I have a ton of resources still. Ihear buffs suck at the moment, but I still want to be able to craft them and buff.


Is master bio-e necessary to craft buffs and stims? I noticed that the master box in bio-e gives no benefit to crafting experimentation. What is the best template for a crafting, buffing doc?


Please no posts about buffs being not worth it, I dont care, I still want to buff.

I also want to add that I am trying to use as little sp as possible from both DOC and BE as possible so I can put more into another profession.

What would be better.


Master BE and doc 0044 or


Master Doc and be 0004 ?



Or do I need to master both?

With MD / BE 0004 you can craft all meds at the maximum possible quality (12pt suit helps), and use all doctor meds to the best possible extent (only surpassed in healing, but not buffing, by an MD dabbling in CM lines).

I am a little new to all of this, but I agree with the last post. Master Doc combined with BE 0004. Unfortunately, to obtain BE 0004 I have had to invest valuable Skill Points in Scout, with has lowered my overall Combat Rating.

just to clear things up:

u dont craft buffpacks or stimpacks anymore - u only craft enhancers for the innate medic abilities of doc/cm and instant stimpacks for everyone (no medic skills needed to use them - just a certain combat level)

u can buff without enhancers, actually enhancers dont add to the power of the buff - only to the duration.
a master doc buffs +10% health for 40 minutes - using enhancers a md buffs for +10% health for around 44 minutes

same for healings - a doc has 3 innate healing "spells" bacta shot, bacta jab and bacta infusion he can perform without any packs - enhancers add some power to the heals

Adrenaline which is probally our best buff doesn't have a enhance associated with it and the rest only increase duration. The Publish 17 will fix the issue with duration of crafted buffed being so small. Mostly what a BE crafts is stims and CM products which can be sold for more and are bought more often.
