Thread: I'm now +15 without spending millions =)

I'm taking a week break to see what I can do now with +15 Medical Experimentation from a Research Facility. Right now I can pulling off 830/12500 and 860/10000 packs using Intrepid's resources from the last 3 months. My ABECs are 20c 11p, ASDS' are 70p and my ACRDMs are 57-61. I think what it all comes down to is the quality of the avian/reactive and the amazing successes we can get using experimentation bonuses, however I would like to make Intrepid history and break 900.


Any tips or suggestions? Working on borrowing +10 from another Master Doctor.

BTW there's been a Lokian Wild Wheat drought and I missed a shift of 900+ OQ/DR Reactive that spawned in a few weeks ago during my first needed break from the game. If anyone has any other suggestions or can help a fellow doctor out on Intrepid, let me know.

I just made a new ALS schematic and I had 2 amazing successes but still ended up with 171 power, so it looks like resources have a cap regardless of experimentation points. Is there any benefit to using a double amazing success over 100% great successes? I can already tell that there's a lot more to learn and I may need more then a week to play around with this.

Resorces dictate how many experimentation points you can put in a particular stat. Having the extra point just means that after you max your favorite stat you can add more to a second stat than someone who does not have it. Its a huge bonus on critical items like weapons and armor because you get that point for all the componets and the final combine. But for meds having another couple heal is not that big a deal...yes its nice and all but. The good thing is wen you make buffs you will get an extra use or two and still have max quality so you can sell that one extra set and make that much more money. Imo those experimentation tapes wile cool are drasticly over priced. People pay milions for them....it takes a long time to make that back and just how much EXTRA are you going to charge for your meds with that point because you can only tally up the extra you charge in your running total for what you spent on the tape. Now if you found the tapes or a friend gave it to you then your all set : ) For example say your stim sells for 1k now that you have lets say the full 2 extra points...People will not pay double now...you can maby charge another 250 but your going to loose some sales to those that are less picky. And with the huge swing in buffs as is i doubt you would even make it back selling those unless you use the points for more uses.

Well for the record I don't have any experimental bonuses from clothing attachments or research facility... and based on my current resources (which I have multiple 100k stacks of) I get these on basic experimentation:


ABEC: 21 charge, 12 power

CRDM: 16

ALS: 174

Enhance D: 804-810 (non-Action) to 854 (action only)


Of course ACRDMs depend on the meat quality which is totally variable, but 54-61 is a common range for me using average stuff, and the Enhance D's use pretty nice avian meat and 955 reactive gas.


All this is with standard experimentation

Yeah I broke 800 and 850 within the last week before moving into the Research Facility, and now I'm having a hard time breaking 900 like I wanted to, especially with the 900+ OQ/DR Reactive I've been looking for. I'm using the current dath shift to get over 850 which Akylo is also mining at 5cpu for Doctors, search for MEDCORP in the forums. The duration isn't the higest but so far (without using the research facility to make them), my average buff has gone from 2000 to 2500 like it used to be.


If anyone has 2-3k of the rori or yavin avian shifts I will trade 1:1 for the opposite. I managed to get about 4-5k of both but apparently need 6800 + experimentation to run a crate of 50 of each pack (according to Iwow).


I also don't have an 11th skill point which means I'll have to hunt or hope someone donates a couple skill tapes because I refuse to pay over a mil for them. If I did have the extra skill points, I'd probably use the either to get 850 - 90 MU packs or add a few charges to the final product which are usually dictated by high charged ABECs.


These packs are not for sale, but I'd be willing to break a few sets off to anyone who can help me out with avian or help figure our how to get them above 900 with Intrepid's resources from the last several months.


Using:


61 ACRDMs (upgraded this from 50 power ones from the low PE herb on dant, and Durhova LC4PF)
20/12 ABECs (using Adrefaf Lokian Wild Wheat and Eglousius Tatooine Fiberplast)
70 ASDSs (using Ayche Domesticated Oats and the current Dolovite on Coronet, can get 69 with the current dath oats)
990/300ish Reactive from Dath right now
Last Yavin/Rori Avian shifts

BTW to anyone who can move into a Research Facility, do it. I've been getting a ton of double amazing successes and even without the extra skill point it still makes your resources worthwhile (especially avian/reactive).


And to answer before anyone asks, I'm getting 28 base charges/pack and 92 MU. All 10 of my experimentation points are going into power and I had just managed to break 850 BEFORE moving into the Research Facility. I realize that base has nothing to do with results which is why I offer customers a choice based on the duration. I have hit 2-3k constantly using these higher level packs so they're well worth the purchase if there's a doctor providing them on your server.

I've been a Master Doctor since the wee days of the game opening..collected resources that are now extinct, but still own a lot or have some left. I'm getting the following w/o med experimentation upgrades:


ABEC's 24/13


ACRM 90


ALS 193


Enhancers usually range between 901 and 980, with experimentation Amazing success at least once or twice.


The kicker, however, is that I don't notice a significant increase in my buffs..which is sorta sad and pathetic..

Deathhawk, Im getting 925 action Ds & 877 on the others on Intrepid and the only component different to urs is the crdm - my sds are in fact weaker than than urs at 69, but my crdm is 65 instead of 60. Can't remember which gas I'm using but is around 970Q, ancient from Rori. Using ofago class 4 instead of the d-named one that has higher Q as the PE on the D-named class 4 brings it down. No experimentation pt tapes and no city bonuses.
