Thought this thread might add a little balance to the general mood.

Guildies and city-folk use my vendors to drop off little gifts as a sign of appreciationfor the med services (one being my daily "STD cure lines" that demand girlie giggles for buffs, half now half later). I look forward to checkingthem everyday for little gifts ranging from looted med components to Janta blood and avian/herbi/minerals, toand crystals/NS loot. Some send weekly emailed WPs to med resources spawning and even place harvesters for me with their lots.

For those of you out there wanting a change from public service, try retiringto serve a city instead. Sure, there will be the occasional jerk that joins and wants to take advantage of you, but with the entire community behind you, their stay in the city will be shortlived. People there tend toappreciate you muchmore and actually talk nicely when they need something from you. (If you're in the City of Fountains in Tempest, this one's for you. /cheer :smileyvery-happy

What are the nicest incidents or experiencesthat havehappened to you as a doc? Let's hear it.

I had someone give me a Tusken Robe with +9 Med Assembly mod on it. I thought that was pretty nice. Of course he was a friend and I've given himseveral free buffs. However, he never thought about selling it, he looted it and wanted me to have it.

Heya Slow I hope this thread turns out to be an uplifting read. Here's my "wonderful people" experiance as I was an up and coming medic/doc:

A very wonderful Father and Son team did alot to help me along as I was learning the game (I was on a trial account). They would take the time from thier day to teach this noob a few things about the game and about being a medical professional. They even went so far as to give me money for resources, meds. I was amazed by thier generosity and kindness to a perfect stranger. These two gentlemen even went as far as getting me the AP needed to become master medic and then master doctor.

Another wonderful and helpful person I met a little later who has also taken me under his wing and taught me alot about the combat aspect of the game and other things in general. He also sacraficed alot of his time to help me master doctor. Haha, he would even let me buff him (before I hit master) with these rather weak buffs, then I would take some bivoli and over buff him, then I'd kill him and start all over again. LOL. He has become such a good friend in fact that I trust him with my account when I am unable to play due to my currently employment in Iraq. I have met so many great people that it's hard to keep track of them all. In fact alot of the people I've met since I decided to check out SWG is why I made it a perm account and stayed. It's not easy to find good people in MMORPG's but I think I've met some of the finest on Tempest.

I think the nicest thing that anyone has ever done, happened last night...after few successfull 'Vette runs a player I've known for quite sometime gave me the gift of a lifetime, an AV-21!

i have a friend who loans me a +10 med exp hat so i can make meds/buffs as a 12pt doc. I reckon thats pretty nice!
