what I would suggest is that you drop scout and pick up artisan when you want to survey, and switch back for harvesting meats. surveying with only artisan is more time consuming true, but with patience you can get it done.

I ended up with 2 factories and a small house, taking up 4 lots. I keep all my resources, subcomponents and finished product in the factories. I also have several of each kind of harvestor, which i place on my 6 free lots when there is a good spawn of something.

Switching between novice artisan and novice scout is what I used to do too. Of course, you can't have vendors anymore if you drop artisan so I will have to keep artisan.

I don't have too much trouble surveying with novice artisan skills. The key for me is a quick macro which is something like the following:

/dismount;

/survey;

/mount speeder;

I put this on my toolbar and simply drive to the high concentration spot and hit the function key. I automatically get off my speeder, do the survey, and remount my survey. It is still tedious dealing with 32M surveying range, but at least I'm not wasting time getting on and off my bike every time.

Of course, 'speeder' above would have to be replaced with the name of your chosen vehicle.

while on Flurry, don't visit Ojes Yobe's Liquidation Vendors just 800M from Theed starport on Naboo (neg5219 3419) - cause they ain't there anymore! They are now exclusively located in Mos Athens Mall

As a Master Swordsman / Master Doctor with only novice scout should I buy the resources needed to make my own buffs or should I get a couple of harvesters?

Also, Do you guys Harvest for a while and then re-deed them so you can put down your factories?I’ve been reading everything I can about the subject but it’s a lot to take in and I’m very confused.

The hard part with your template is that even if you bought your Harvesters, you would have to get WP to good spots to harvest from other players because you have no Surveying skills.

I have an alt that has Survey IV and 10 free lots I harvest with. If that wasn't an option I don't know what I would do. If I were you I would go checking around your server to see if there are any Resource Harvesters with good prices (i.e. Always 3cpu or something on all current spawns) and get them to harvest whenever you see something good pop up on swgcraft.com. The trouble is finding a good reliable person to harvest for you that won't gouge you when something really nice comes along.

As for the Avian Meat or the Herbivore Meat your best bet when that stuff hits is to pay Rangers or higher level Scouts to bring you all they can get. Never set a minimum order in my opinion... just say 'I am paying 40cpu for xxxxx meat please drop on my vendor' and then buy up all you get to make one big stack.

Good luck!!!!

Thanks. I thought my template would be a problem. I'll just have to do the best I can. Thanks again

I suggest you buy some buff packs...buff enough people in the starport to cover the costs then use the rest for yourself.

Example:

On Chilastra a backpack with all 6 stats cost about 120K 880/32

Sell 10 at the starport for 12K to cover the initial 120Kand you have 20 buffs left over for yourself.
