Thread: ABECS Charges or Power?
Charges, i have experimented.
First:
ABC with 21 Power and 13 Charges
My Buffpack had 904 Base and 19 Charges
Second:
ABC with 14 Power and 21 Charges
I get a Buffpack with 879 Base and 29 Charges
I Think 10 Charges more is better than 25 more Power ![]()
Allow me to reveal something to those that don't already know... this was brutally revealed to me by a fellow doctor in my guild...
ABEC: 20 Power, 12 Charges
Resulting Stim: 400 Power, 31 Charges
ABEC: 12 Power, 20 Charges
Resulting Stim: 392 Power, 39 Charges
These aren't exact numbers, but the result is the same every time... The difference in power/charges in the ABECs is directly related to the difference in power/charges in final creation... 8 more power/charges on the ABEC = 8 more power/charges on the stim... personally, with so little change, the 8 charges is definitly the better way to go.
Now, using low charges so your customers have to come back, that's another story....... ![]()
EDIT: I've only done this with stims, whether or not the power of the ABEC affects experimentation on buff packs I don't know yet, but will probably experiment with it today.

I always go for CHARGES. The extra 8+ charges you get out of buff packs allows you to conserve your other resources ...especially avian meat ... since your meds last that much longer.
Everything else you can make, such as stimpacks and woundpacks, really don't benefit all that much from the ABEC power. All the power should be derived from ALS and ACRDMS (mostly ALS).
H.
Charges on ABECs, most definitely!
Besides, whats a few power points with the very LARGEvariance in buff range.
charges, of course
anyone who experiments on power is totally wasting their resources
would you rather have 10 extra power, or 10 extra charges?
seems pretty damn obvious to me.....
