It seems I have lost my source of avian meat. I had been gathering it by taking missions on Rori for the sickle rasps but those missions are not on those terminals anymore.

Does anyone know of a steady source of avian meat? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I know all servers differ a bit, but on Ahazi I was having some good luck on Talus. I would just take Vynok missions for herb meat, and on the way out I would waste every rasp I saw (and for some reason, there's always tons of them out there). I would spend a night or so collecting meats when I had nothing else to do, and actually, a shift or so ago, both Talusian herb and avian were pretty good (that being the main reason I even started going to Talus in the first place).

Aftera few trips out there, I had thousands of both types of meat, until my friend redeeded the house and forgot about the backpack still inside.

I havn't tested this theory but i do beleive nunas are avian meat as well. They are newbie type creatures for naboo so there are lots of them around, but they don't give much meat.

Nunas ARE avian meat.. but please be aware that they aren't as easy as deased nunas are.... I got one too many on me one night.. and well... they owned my poor pathetic butt.

BUT they give about 8 or so per nuna.... give it a shot and if you can milk the lair you can get GOBS of meat. Question is...

Is it any good?

Dathomir avian meat from reptilian flyers has been what i have been using recently, for really decent oq and pe.. and at 5k'ish ham they're a pretty easy kill with a reasonably decent quantity to harvest.

I guess this kind of thing changes just like all resources, server to server and week to week, doesn't it? I play on Bloodfin, don't know that our food/organic resources are even the same on any other server, are they?

I went to get those Malkocs (or however that's spelled) for herbivore meat and found that *every* one i harvested was skinny and 1 unit.. i was wondering if this was some sort of resource "bug" relative to how a resource in a particular area eventually runs out and then changes to another resource name/type. *shrug*

Sample the avian flyers on Dathomir and see if it's good stuff, it is for me.

Actually all organic resources shift they just vary in time.

If you get the skinny message that means the shift is currently happening. Will be atleast 8 hours give or take before harvest rates are back to normal.

Lok by far is the best with the perleks and flits. Lots of them and pretty simple to kill. You can find them without even taking missions but even better you can get 2.5k per mission at the same time as getting the meat. If you take a friend along they could get hides from the perleks which is a required part for padded armor from armorsmiths and make even more money.

Perleks have up to 4k ham and now they are social or baf. So you will get more then one. Use to be you could take them one at a time now you get the whole nest or most of it. They also have a ranged attack.

Flits have always been social but the giant flit has like 3k ham so they are lower level then the perleks.

There are also pharnels ( sp?) here and they are very easy but don't yeild as much as the other ones.

Best bet get a rock beetle or a mountain kevrol (sp?) buff it and send them after one. Then use your combat skills to shoot at one keeping your little pet healed up. The kevrol does really well against all of these at least for me. My combat skills are better then most so I send him in and pick a diffrent one to kill and just peel them off him one by one.

I have gotten several thousand units of meat in less then two hours.

I also hunt the gurnasets for herbavoire meat and snorbals ( sp? ) they look like elephants with two trunks.

So lok can be a good place to hunt as you need the wheat from here as well. I plan a 4 hour time period to the planet every other day and get 2k of meat of each type while I check my harvesters. One stop shopping.
