When buffing creatures is it necessary to buff secondary stats?

Almost have it backwards - when buffing creatures ONLY buff secondary stats, namely their regen.

(Drawing a blank, 1st secondary lowers special cost, dont need that for the pet, its the 2nd secondary that you want)

You will find that your pet regens ham very quickly, and in most cases eliminates the need for healing.

Who cares about an extra 1k ham on a pet you dont have to heal anyway that has 10k to start.

For CH pets I just buff the regen stats. For non-CH I buff regen/health/action

Just repeating/expounding on what the others just replied before me...

Pets do *well* to have Constitution and Stamina enhanced. These substats are very miniscule for pets when unbuffed, and they have almost no regenerative ability when unbuffed.

I find that buffing my own pets (creature and faction pets alike) you will find yourself doing a lot less stimming pets between missions.. Often with good regenerative stat buffs my pets will regen a very decent amount of damage just running to the next mission waypoint.

From my own observation, creature pets nor faction pets seem to eat up their own ham with "special move costs" like player characters do, so buffing Strength/Quickness is really a waste on pets.
