Hello all, just thought I'd ask what the drill is for a doc in the DW bunker as I'm planing on my first trip there shortly. Aside from the obvious buffing, what tactics would you recommend for a doc?
In particular should I wear a tolken piece or two of armour for added protection and sacrifice some mind, or should I just hang back and trust inthe protection of the group tanks?
Any and all advice appreciated!
(Oh and if this is in the FAQ sorry I couldn't find it there so if it's a case of RTFFAQ point me at the specific bit there lol)
Cheers,
Gift.

Don't bother with armour, you'll just die with it on.
I'd say hang back and heal and rez when needed.

Here's my suggestions... hope they help...
First of all, get stocked up on rez packs, stims, and state packs (especially dizzy, dizzy seems to get alot of people).
I still wear armor, but I usually get a mind buff or some good food/drink for the mind. Nearly all my points are invested into mind... everything else is easy to buff with my enhance packsor food. Hang back.. let the CM do the mind heals and most of the area healing... (/cheer area stims)
When I'm playing with a CM, I usually keep my eye on the group bar (to check and see if anyone needs revived), but mostly on the CM... keep them out of trouble, keep them healed. Keep an eye onanyone else who might have doc as well (having a few people who can revive adds to the possibility of succeeding in whatcha want to do). When I AM the CM, I usually watch the jedi first (depending on the event if they are present or not -- think raids), then thedoctors, the tanks... then everyone else.
That's pretty much all I've gotten out of a year of playing

Wear armour, go for light encumbrance, the DWB is manic and if you get jumped by something you'll need to stay alive long enough for your tanks to taunt it off you..
The DWB is manic though, you will have to stay close tothe tanks to heal them, which means you may well get attacked, make sure there's some CMs in the rear (or wherever) bunging heals left right and center, as well as some Jedi to handle the mind wounds the CMs will get.
As well as being a doctor I am one of my group's primary tanks, so I'm quite happy to mix it up with the SBDs up close and personal, being master swordsman with a CoB macro running and some heavy duty armour I can take quite a pounding while slapping heals on other players.
As has been said stock up on state packs, stim E's and res kits, lots of res kits, you won't need disease or poison cures or flame blankets.
A word of warning however, we went in with 2 groups of 20 and were doing just fine until we noticed that our food and drink bars weren't moving, I popped 2 45m Brandies before I went in, when they ran out I still had a 75% full drink bar so I couldn't take another one, thanks to this bug (everyone else had the same issue), the raid went south after everyone's food buffs wore off...
... and another thing, keep moving, you can't clear rooms and move on, they respawn too quickly, just keep moving through the place, picking up enemies and slaughtering them.

if u read up on the cm forums, texxie is also trying to screw docs out of this new patch
i dont think texxie should be a correspondant, shes pretty damn jealous when another prof gets somethin good instead of her percious game breaking CM's

Wear Full Comp Armor. Make sure your focus is near 1000 with only food (Canape, Arisa and Brandy what ever you perfer). Migrate stats if need be. Bring Moun for emergencies
Peace out of combat if it's even close to dicey in there. Make sure tanks (particuarly TKS's with Taunt) know to attack anything that attacks you. You have to ask for help and name what's attacking you though.
Armor will give your group members enough time to pull something off you if you get in trouble.
Remember, a good tank knows he's doing his job if the healers are alive, even if he died.
Always rez your other rezzers first, then others of your group second.

Texxie is a guy, it even says so in his sig. Stop trying to insult him with your ignorance.
"game breaking CM's"
That quote alone makes your complaint about CMs irrelavant. Those three words show you to be a CM hater, and as a CM hater, the biggest target there is Texxie. You want TRUE game breaking, then carry your ass to the Jedi forum.
Speaking of game breaking....funny how you list your former profession as a Rifleman and your current profession as Swordsman. Both of these professions attack the one pool that cannot be healed with stims. I find that...interesting.

Back to the question asked, If you are going as a Doctor, may I suggest you do nothing but be a Doctor, try to draw as little or no agro at all. You are going to need to be in armour with musical buffs to take the hits before you can call someone to get the agro off you. Take some very good stims and rez pacs.
Do not walk through doors first, do not fall behind. Make sure your group knows to look after you and not to run too far away from eachother and, more importantly, not too far away from you.
Given the insane damage in there, for a group of 20 you are going to need 2 full time docs and a CM never goes astray as well.
TO get through the thing, you are going to need at least two goups of 20 alternating rooms in a leep frog fashion to do it semi confortably. A smaller, one group team is going to grind down when it hits too many of the nasty Super Battle Droid thingos ... nasty buggers with Hams so large they would make a vir ..... erh .. well you get the idea.
Good luck!

im probably the first doc with marrow that killed the overlord on pretty much any server anyways , i dunno why you need advices for that since they are nothing out of the ordinary we all know the place is filled with sbd's and that means alot of hurt off everyone including you ... the rules of DWB are stay together really tight (helps doc so they dont run all over the place and you get less aggro), attack 1 tgt at a time, and have 1 guy who know where hes going to guide everyone... now for doc's like i said make sure your group stays together , i had a full suit of comp armor 85% and i tanked 2 sbd's np ," dont go there without armor you will get killed in a heartbeat 400 points shots are pretty typical of the place" especially without armor , what i did do to counter the effects of the armor is again nothing out of the ordinary i was using 2 shots of brandy 400 or higher and 1 canape 730 to wp and f , i also had an option for a sec canape if i was in the jam and needed more juice ... actually the only advice i can give you and thats if you get there is if you get to the mines and some of your crew lost there buffs for whatever reason ... theres toxic fumes down there and they will lose there health and action all the time so you can either really waste alot of stims on em or make sure you keep the ones buffed ... i also heard that the stomac doesnt digest as good down there . i didnt experience it first hand since i didnt lose my buffs but some did in our group . Entertainer buffs are a must since thats what will kill 3/4 of the crew if you follow all the tips above obviously and also have only masters in your group . other than that good luck
