Thats so lame. If they give a date for release of something, it needs to be done on time.

I look at it from the standpoint that I now have more time to find the resources since I have been slacking hehe

This delay is good for me. I been slacking off finding the new resources but now I should have plenty of time.

They ran in to some issues during QA testing. Rather than rush the patch and introduce new bugs, they are doing the right thing and making sure everything still works.

The timeframe they propose should reflect a certain amount of time to debug and polish up any issues that may exist especially since these timeframes are constantly released to the subscribing public. If they felt they were introducing new code that would have small problems they should delay a week from the startand if they felt they were coding on a much larger issue then they could delay a few weeks (Wheres the GCW?¿?). It should all be accounted for and if I did my job like they do thiers... lets just say I'd be looking for work right now.

And what exactly is the right thing to do in this world... meet your obligations and promises... or meet your expectations... I don't pretend to know the answer to that and niether should you. Some people expect things on time while others expect it done right. The trick is finding the balance and accurately working off it.

I always delay anything SOE plans atleast a week in my mind that way I adjust for thier horrible PR.

Oh yeah and btw: SOE hasn't done much of anything on time and I think most would agree that much of it isn't done right anyway... SO WHY THE DELAY!!! /closeeyes ... *swings nerf bat as hard as he can*

I was so happy when I heard about the new items for doc, I took yesterday off to play with the crafting stuff, and when I got up to log in my account was actually up for renewal, so I renewed only to find they hadnt patched it yet

They mentioned that /firstaid had stopped working somehow. I'm as disappointed about the delay as everyone is, but with Jedi using an exploit to throw 1000+ bleeds on people, the last thing I want is to lose /firstaid for a week because they pushed the patch out too soon.

Lol it doesn't change a thing for me, it's impossible to get 80% of the resources on sunrunner, especially not good ones.

Im glad they waited, things that they released too early and too buggy turned out not so good.
