Thread: Question for Wookiee Docs

This is my first post, so I hope I don't mess it up.
I'm a wookiee doc, and am trying to figure out if there is any such thing as a Crafter's Apron for Wookiees. I obviously can't wear the one I have. If there's no such thing, how do I go about getting those extra 10 points I need to craft good buffs? Are skill tapes the ONLY way I can get them?

Nope, there is no apron for Wookiees. But I'm a Wookiee MD, and I am able to make pretty decent buffs with only my 10 points.

Wookiees cannot use crafting aprons. I was apalled that the devs screwed us again when these came out, but our protests went on deaf ears. Sometime, maybe in the future, the will fix what they should have started with, but no time frame has been given.
In the meantime, I suggest that you put all your tapes on interspecies clothes so that they retain value if you ever want to resell them. In particular - belts or chef's hat or baker's caps work well. Bandoleirs can be used by any species but are ahassle since you have to take your backpack off. The chef's apron can be worn by any, but this takes the same slot as the crafting apron. (Why they could make a useless chef's apron fit Wookiees but not the valuable crafter's apron is a mystery to me).
I would also suggest submitting a /bug report and have all of your wookiee friends do it as well, to remind the devs of this issue.

It's only useless if your not a Chef 
I'm pretty sure a wookie chef finds it useful

Thank you to everyone that answered. I guess I'll just have to be a 10 point doc until I can find some skill tapes that are useful to me, or wait till the devs decide to stop persecuting wookiees....hehehe

To clarify, the food crafting aprons (from the themepark schematics) do not fit wookiees. But there is something called a chef's apron that a tailor makes (without special schematics)that wookiees can wear. The chef's apron is just for appearance and has no crafting bonuses in it.

Yup, skill tapes is your only option really. You can still get as good as those who use crafting aprons with experimentation bonuses. Though it's going to cost you a lot more through skill tape compensation via the high price of med experimentation clothing attachments.
