Thread: Medicine in a bag?

Is it possible to use your medicine if it's stored inside a pack or container? I wasn't sure if Doctors and Medics had to have all of those meds/stims/buffs in general inventory or if you all could use them if they were stored inside of something.

Hotkey them in your packs?
I went ahead and picked up some medical skills and have been trying to play around with them a little, if I put these Woundpacks into a bag it tells me "You have no wounds to heal" when I try to /healwound, but if I move them to general inventory it'll use them for me just fine. I don't know if that works the same for the stim packs yet, I haven't gone out and gotten into a dustup to try it.
What's the hotkey idea though? That might be where I'm going wrong on mine.

If you move the wound pac to the tool bar, not the command it will work from inside of a pac.

i think its a neat idea to ask for a pack to put all our junk in without useing invortory...
my backpack & invortory is full because of all the stuff i have for healing & buffing peeps..

use storage droids too.
Yeah put the actual item in your toolbar and you can use it from a backpack. I have clear combatqueues in my macro's so I gotta dump em in my inventory.
Also you can call items out of your droid from the toolbar too, but you gotta press it twice (first to pull it out, second to use it)
